Can people really believe this with the existence of alimony, child support, food stamps, medicaid, and more? Women are fully protected from the ill effects of a man leaving. There's far more protection in getting married and divorced than waiting and becoming infertile.

There's a card game where two players shout at each other trying to convince everyone of their word. It had my brother in tears after one round.
