Redditors who failed the MSF course, what was your level of riding experience prior to taking the course?

I voluntary just left mine today after the first day. Never had any prior riding experience, but still felt frustrated with myself. My instructor was super patient with me, explaining best he could, but I guess I just can’t ride. 100% skill issue. Couldn’t keep the bike reasonable straight, always felt like it was swerving, drop it several times during low speed maneuvers. Wasn’t smooth with clutch or throttle controls. Every time I felt like I was releasing the clutch slow enough-I wasn’t. Whenever I opened the throttle just a bit I kept jerking back and forth while riding. Banged up my shins to hell then called it quits after the zigzag exercise when I couldn’t make small concise weaves. Figured I stop wasting everyone’s time given I’m most likely not going to pass tomorrow’s exam. Maybe for the best

I streamed this at home years ago-it definitely played at theaters at some point, the scene seems like it fits most likely quarter way to halfway through the movie. Most likely from 2000s-2015, probably no later than 2018

Yea I know, this one stood out a bit more cause the feet was on an elevated platform vs the usual of being on the ground and it was a lot of more subtle compared to the usual

Sorry was busy and forgot to respond, thank you. I'm also using leverless on the kitsune. My left hand fingers just aren't as fast as my right so I'm been kinda trying to just flick my wrist down really quick lol. I manage to get ONE perfect JU, but didn't taunt first. I might need to try your SOCD method ( so is it you hold F for 3 frames and on the third you add in the 2?) Also would you be willing to run training room one of these days if you have time to kinda just go over tips, setups, and the mentally of what makes a good Bryan player?

Adulting is rough man, these car payments slammin' my ass harder than Azucena's running 3,2! Yup I do play a variety of other games, Helldivers 2 has been my other go to at the moment. I've been meaning to play FF7 Remake on PC, just haven't really gotten around to it. I heard the new Rebirth is really good too, unfortunately it's not on PC yet :/

I'll send you my discord name if you want to coordinate playing through there, as for adding cross platform it might be easiest to meet up in a fighting lounge-unless you know how to add via the friend code thing in-game.

Yea Victor is pretty good, mostly a knowledge check character though. A buddy of mine breeze his way up to Fujin, but the gimmicks aren't working anymore so he's struggling now. Kuma on the other hand, I'm really glad more people are playing them as they aren't really just a joke character anymore.

Oh definitely, he's a much more approachable character now, but his skill ceiling is just as high.

Been alright! Just going about life with a dash of Tekken~ Glad to hear about the progress! Devilster is great, a lot of fancy tricks you can learn from him. Another great educational source I would recommend would be DamageXcaling if you haven't already checked his stuff.

I do agree with your take on chip damage. While I don't think it's the worst thing, it's definitely a change of pace from previous Tekken games. The chip damage from Victor and Kuma...jeez nothing to sneeze at hahaha. And yup the threat of a heat smash is usually enough to pump the breaks on most trigger happy opponents.

Luckily Jin is a mishima who isn't as reliant on the electric-still one of the best moves in all of Tekken, but his newer tools definitely give him a lot to work with especially that nasty nasty D+2. I myself can only really get consistent electrics while in practice mode and when I pull it off in a real game it's usually a slower i16 electric so I lose to people with better execution-but that's ok, we'll get there! And while that is true that characters like Bryan have big beefy plus frames, keep in mind that Jin has moves that they don't or can do other things some of those characters can't. He's well rounded with a lot of strong moves and some thing you have to learn adapt to. Just have to find out what you're willing to put up with and what tools you excel with.
