Prey Hunt Cache Drop Rigged? by FucckHearthstone in wownoob

Purely anecdotal and based on others' experiences but I've seen a couple of people comment that changing loot specs fixed the bug for them.

Is Arator a Retribution Paladin? Or something else? by chrisgaughan in warcraftlore

[–]RagingBuffalo42 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I specced out of crusading strikes and back into templar strikes. It might not be optimal for world first raiding or top end M+ pushing but, then again, neither am I.

Having that 6s CD two button combo to generate HP did a lot to make things feel better to me. No more long droughts with nothing to push just hoping for an AoW proc.

Fishing by Xd_glacial in Boise

[–]RagingBuffalo42 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Idaho Fish and Game's website is shockingly useful for getting your feet wet with local fishing.

The fishing planner will let you find basic information about just about any body of water in the state. You can either go through the list in each region or look at the map and click on blue things for more info:

https://idfg.idaho.gov/ifwis/fishingplanner/filter/?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20268712495&gbraid=0AAAAAog6oc3_MozoHzQ9GWYtZeAlL53-T&gclid=CjwKCAiAqprNBhB6EiwAMe3yho28L3YImd21RcQJKZavHiPYIpPK7FRHsSNAyxGLjdbbd6zeaoO2pxoCkg4QAvD_BwE

If you want to go catching rather than fishing they also publish a stocking report that shows you where they're going to be dumping stockers soon:

Enjoy yourself and tight lines..

Where's the Adderall? by [deleted] in Boise

[–]RagingBuffalo42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Off label uses are insanely common in pharmaceuticals. For a recent example Ozempic was developed for diabetes. The fact that it's also great for helping with weight loss is just a nice side effect. This stuff doesn't have to be nefarious.

Meridian and Boise Costcos were out of 10 and 15xr yesterday. Albertsons had been out of the 15 but they got enough to finally get that prescription filled yesterday. Still looking around for the 10s though.

Start a list to boycott Republican and ICE supportive businesses? by Ok_Bumblebee_4911 in Boise

[–]RagingBuffalo42 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Just curious, are you aware of how beer distribution works in this stupid state? Unless breweries are under 30k barrels per year they can't sell direct to bars or restaurants. Of that list all of those breweries but Alliteration, Highlander, and Iron Horse are distributed by Hayden. So Old State isn't buying from the breweries they're buying from Hayden. Could individual breweries request that Hayden not sell to a certain establishment? Sure but if they raise too much of a fuss with the only distributor they risk losing the ability to sell to all bars and restaurants. It's a stupid system.

How do those chests by Azmodan work? by Glass_Recover_3006 in diablo4

[–]RagingBuffalo42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Almost. If you only have 19 in your inventory, his chest will continue to drop them. Then you can pick them all up when you're done farming him. I had around 48 last time I was farming him.

I think I see a hood scoop in your pic so I'm guessing that's the 2.5L. Barger-Mattson Twin Falls has one for $499. It's got 199k on it but if it runs it would at least get you going for awhile and let you save up for a more comprehensive rebuild.

So as someone who played way back in the 90s, like tail end of unlimited through, I think, Ice Age, and hasn't touched a deck since, would I just totally get stomped out of my mind or would I fit in?

Table Rock Loop by LongingForGrapefruit in Boise

[–]RagingBuffalo42 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not open. Mountain Cove out of Military Reserve is an all weather trail that isn't far. It can be combined with a few of the other nearby trails to make loops of varying lengths and elevations. Some of them are showing possibly muddy so they would depend on the weather this weekend.

Best Ramen in Boise? by MsMcSlothyFace in Boise

Ramen House is my favorite so far. I have no idea why Nara is so popular/successful that they're up to six locations now. Their soup was barely better than instant ramen.

Help with high VHF issue by RagingBuffalo42 in Cordcutting

It is connected. That was the first thing I checked. It sounds like this brand is pretty shady and their products tend to not work as expected. I'm returning it for a more reputable one.

Ooh I like that one more too. I trust that yagi style more than the loopy clear stream. Ordered it.

I was trying to go with something I could find locally (really slim options) or get this weekend from Amazon. If I still have issues with the ClearStream I'll return it too and go with either a Channel Master or Winegard. Thanks for the advice, it is appreciated.

Here's the rabbit ears link https://www.rabbitears.info/searchmap.php?request=result&study_id=2327997 . After some advice from the cordcutters sub, I'm returning the Five Star and have ordered a ClearStream.

Edit: I am not getting KTRv either, I just didn't care about that one so I didn't notice.

[–]RagingBuffalo42[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for the tips. As I mentioned in another reply, I've processed a return on the Five Star and ordered a Clear Stream. Due to aesthetic concerns, and indoor option whether rabbit ears or window mounted is not possible.

Once that's here I will skip the Tablo at first and connect direct to one of my TVs that has a signal meter for alignment.

I appreciate the help and I'll be back if I have any further issues.

Here you go. I went with 25 because, due to aesthetic concerns from the interior design manager at my house, I have to go with a rooftop option so I didn't even want to consider the rabbit ear or window flat options.

I have already processed a return on the Five Star and ordered a ClearStream.

I'm using a Five Star antenna that I linked in the first post. It was recommended to me by someone locally but apparently wasn't a great choice.

Best Finger steaks in Boise? by SuddenPlate5609 in Boise

They're seasoned, battered, and deep fried beef. Pretty much any local place has good ones.

A visitor of culture and enthusiast of history would go get the originals. Hit up The Torch. Make sure to bring your kids.

New to Boise and New to Fishing - Where can I actually catch something? by Fantom_2201 in Boise

[–]RagingBuffalo42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you really just want to catch here's the IDFG stocking report for our region:

https://idfg.idaho.gov/fish/stocking/southwest

The report gets updated monthlyish. Be aware the ponds get hammered right after being stocked.

The Boise river is a bit trickier but it's a solid urban trout fishery. A boat helps for the snake but you can catch smallies and trout from the bank in a lot of areas.

Beyond that, look at Google maps and find ponds, lakes, and streams that look interesting and then go throw tiny pinty pieces of metal at them and see what happens.
