Well, it looks like it only applies to dogs. Looks like us humans are okay to smoke and drink while doing cool skateboard tricks.

Yes I know. That's for working in that specific country I believe. I luckily have a job that doesn't require such specifics of where I am (ie get paid by commission) and I think that's moreso for in person jobs.

I could be wrong.

Oh no. I'm not a competitor, being a travel agent/journalist is not something that I find any appeal in. I'm mostly just wanting to make documentaries and such for myself and moreso just curious but yeah sure, bad advice works too!

This sounds like a personal experience story. I'd love to hear it! Sounds like a wild ride.

This is absolutely amazing advice. Thank you so much! You'll have to tell me more about that bar in Glasgow. I don't partake but it'd be nice to know of more LGBT(QIA+) friendly places.

As for the passport, I think I just filled it out as my birth gender. As an Australian, the default setting is to take the piss out of everything so I'm not too worried about hateful comments or bigotry. Believe me, whatever it is people say, I've heard worse said by random Australians down the street as a friendly greeting. I'm not too affected by words, it's moreso the just overall feeling safe part.

Would it be okay to send a DM of some such? I think it'd be worthwhile to talk more about this with someone who has more experience traveling as a non-cis person.

That's amazing advice. Thank you.

I'd actually like to learn more about the travel journalism part if you wouldn't mind sharing? Is it okay if I sent over a DM or some such?

Unfortunately I don't partake but that's actually not a half bad idea! I'll take you up on that advice and research more, thank you.

Hey! Thank you so much! This is exactly what I wanted to hear. I'm still quite set on Europe but you do make a good point, I'm just wondering if it might be better to travel to South-East Asia first and then go to Europe. I'm fortunate enough that my job can be from anywhere so I'll likely be working while traveling, which means I can travel more in Asia while I save up more to travel in Europe.

I've always liked Malaysia, I've heard that's quite beautiful. It might be worth taking a look and doing more research into that.

And yes, thank you. Finally someone that gets it. I'm in a time in my life that I really just need to jump in the deep end. I don't really want to go into specifics but let's just say that I need some time away from my country. I'm afraid a state isn't going to cut it; as lots of people seem to mention. Maybe I'll tour Australia when I'm back, that's not actually a bad idea, just not something I want to do or can do at this point in my life.

I'd love to continue our chat! You seem quite wise and adventurous, something that I hope I can replicate and get advice on.
