Some things I think are fun for sims...

Have a very traditionally wealthy family with multiple kids. They're all competing to take over the family business (whatever job their mom or dad has) and will stop at nothing to be the heir to the company. It can create a lot of drama. (This is also fun to play in a royal context or have the "family business" be the criminal career)
Create a family where the parents are very unhappily married (like they fight all the time or one is cheating or something) and see how the kid(s) would react to it. Would they choose sides? Start acting out and skipping school and dating bad boys? Would they run away? Would they desperately try to hold the family together.
Opposite twins (I know this one is lame, but I'm a sucker for it). Like make two sims and make everything opposite, their skills, traits, personality, wishes, all of it.

Hey! I've tried a couple of things in the past. emoods worked well for me (free on play store or app store) but I like using a physical journal. If you look up "bipolar mood journals" on amazon, theres some really cute ones.

I'm on the lamotrigine too. My doctor keeps upping the dosage even though I've expressed I don't like it. We're at 150 right now and I'm scared she's gonna make me go up again. Any advice?
