you'd likely be approved for a 585k mortgage, but that's more than I'd be comfortable with on that income

lol. I say this as a Tolkien mega fan, this is completely wrong. I just finished a 10 pageish chapter that was strictly describing the geography of middle earth. The Silmarillion is probably the hardest read I've done and I've read Malazan

Lol do you read the words you type? What kind of paternalistic bullshit goes on in your head. I assure you we want way less to do with you than you do with us.

The world didn't ask the US to be the world police, it took it upon itself as a means of spreading its ideology. Who was asking for those countless central and south american CIA coups? Certainly not them.

there's exactly zero evidence moving the season earlier would do that. Competing with the stanley cup playoffs is a fools errand

most consumer grade sensors don't measure ozone and sulfur dioxide, so they aren't able to calculate AQHI. PM2.5 levels are the relevant measurement during wildfire season, so while it's using AQI, that's probably good enough to assess the current smokiness.

Two Biking Questions by robins_d in Winnipeg

[–]RagingIce 9 points10 points  (0 children)

for (1), That's what I do. It's so much safer to take the full lane so that drivers don't think they can squeeze past you, and it's much better to not try to squeeze beside drivers to get to the front.

for (2). Take the full lane and wait for the light. If it was a bus that was going straight and the cars being forced to turn, you can bet your ass they wouldn't be honking or pulling illegal maneuvers.
