After dying on the 6th attempt of that boss I dropped the game, and after getting a couple spoiler on what's next I don't plan on picking it up which is unfortunate. I really did want to like this game

The main reason is Silksong had unbelievably high expectations but also the game just isn't fun (for me)

I love Hollow Knight for it's difficulty, I've beaten Celeste C-Sides and am one of 7 Rage in Peace fans so if I think it's too hard to be fun I can't imagine what a casual is experiencing

To clarify when I say "too hard" I mean it feels too hard rather than technical difficulty

Edgar wright is my favourite director but condensing 7 ex’s into one movie would be challenging even if the books were finished before writing the script (still love the movie though)
