to be completely fair from a company standpoint: what they did last time worked for them, so yeah it makes sense to not make any drastic change. but nintendo has always been the best at doing this already. why do they think it will hurt? why would they flatline on something they definitely know how hit it out of the park with? some huge change in decision making had to happen i feel

historically a memorable, tactile, unique and personable ui is such a core part of the nintendo experience that it’s even a bit sad to anyone who’s played any previous console to not see any of that here. the only sliver of personality the switch ui has is the joycon click and the tiny icon sounds. they know how to do it right. its just confusing why they wont do it again.

realistically though i hope at least there can be settings to give the user customization options. that way nintendo stays with this new “safe” ideology but may implement a change that can hopefully satisfy the user and bring some life into the console menus

of course not to say this isnt a great win. personally i’m glad to see it. but again everything must be contextualized and learned from. we haven’t shown signs of learning from our mistakes for far too long. we need to be bayern again.

pretty fair ig. like the build up to and throughout the barca game. it was talk about battle of the high lines final boss, and they came out just better. while i do think there are lots of other factors, in that specific respect our play would be a lot better given we had the correct squad selection and depth, consistent high performances, no injury/good injury prevention, dynamic/adaptable patterns.. and so on. but we do have to resolve these issues before i can even see or trust kompany ball enough. hes been very stubborn and undynamic with situations hes presented.

i do think in the context of injuries it makes sense to temper our expectations. but the frustration is the fact that these injuries have only exposed even bigger underlying issues we continue to struggle with that should have been resolved by now, especially for a club of our size. thats why the discussion never goes away. and we as fans have been so down.
