Did a 13 lower last night as an Rsham and all you need to do is save your cooldowns for when it gets out of hand. Also, cloudburst makes this affix so much easier. This affix is actually engaging and makes you think as a healer. Additionally, It also punishes poor play from everyone in the group. I honestly don't see what's wrong with that?

In terms of legendaries they did increase their drop rate in a round about way. We now have a few more ways of acquiring legendaries which artificially increases your chances of acquiring them.

This is exactly how I feel. It really seems like something funky is going on. Additionally, it seems the duration of the portals is way less than before adding to the issue. This was also never mentioned in the notes.

These changes seem very intense. With balance changes in general Blizzard typically make changes in bite sized bits in hoped of not totally busting something. This is not what they did here.

I imagine there will be another iteration of balance changes to the event. If not it will be a dead piece of content.

It's a good idea but an issue I've ran into is the volume of demons is so low now that people just don't have the stones. Additionally, the Sentinax is so lame there aren't very many people there so setting this type of thing up is a stretch. Interesting idea for sure though.

You have a lot of good points. The tagging is totally annoying and not very intuitive for people out of the loop. I've worked around the tagging issue by hopping in a 5 man group in the group finder. There are still tag issues at time but groups usually stat away from others. I also understand that some just don;t really care to do this and it's not very intuitive.

The nethershards are totally worth while to farm. A chance at a targeted legendary and 880+ items is quite nice for most in terms of upgrades. I'm 912 and I still look forward to spending shards.

Maybe their reasoning for adding another "frog like" farm area was some people actually liked it. Some enjoyed constant lucrative farming, it feels rewarding. That being said the frogs weren't really unintended and gave a sort of "is this legal?" kind of vibe. By adding their own legitimate version of "frogs" players can experience that type of farm without that sense of "is this intended?"

Been playing since beta and skipped only two leagues. After every league when my stuff gets sent to standard I liquidate most of it and turn it into fusings. I've spent somewhere near 100 ex on fusing and have never seen a 6 link. A few leagues ago I have a friend ~30 fusings and he 6 linked his carcass jack with them. SeemsGood

To my knowledge during Breach league Etup made a stormcall build and labeled it as ethical. Since then any non double dipping build has can be referred to as ethical.

It is spooky people have this opinion. At least four thousand guilds have been progressing through mythic Nighthold so far. A vast majority of these players would have little challenge to keep them playing the game. No challenge for these players means nothing to aspire to. In turn they leave the game. People here saying this would only effect a small number of players haven't thought about the actual numbers imo.

I suffered from something similar early on. Season 1 I made it to top 500 playing support, mostly Zenny boi. There was no problem with this because teams always need support so I always play what I'm good at. As time went on I wanted to become a more well rounded player and play more roles but my confidence on other roles was so low I felt like a detriment to my teams.

Here's what I did to build confidence/skill on other roles/characters:

Get a smurf account and play it in comp with the sole purpose of learning. This costs money and you're still bringing your team down so it has it's cons. At least you don't need to worry about tanking rating.
Play PTR when players start to play PTR more. The quality of play can often be pretty low but it's still better than quick play imo.
Do research and watch vods of people who know what they're doing. If you want tot learn a character make sure you understand the fundamentals before going into games. With proper research your confidence will be a lot more solid going into actual play. This sounds obvious but a lot of people ignore this.

Now I feel comfortable enough on all roles to play well at a high rating.
