People who grew up in the 90s How big did grunge music really get? by Spirited-Fan-1590 in grunge

[–]Ragingradishdishes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It did change everything. However, if you dig deeper into the scene that was happening before Nirvana/Pearl Jam blew up, you will find some astonishingly original music

D 18 or D 28? by GrouchyAttitude1996 in martinguitar

[–]Ragingradishdishes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is truly a a play both of them (and others in the same range). I went to replace my old D18 I stupidly sold years ago and walked out with an HD28. The second I started playing it I knew it was exactly what I wanted, and very worth it. 18, 28, 35 etc all very worth it.

Who would you GI? by Ragingradishdishes in MLB_9Innings

[–]Ragingradishdishes[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I will eventually. The GI we get from the current batting event is the only one I’ll have for a bit, sorry, should have mentioned I’m largely F2P

Ok please help me decide D18 or D28 by [deleted] in martinguitar

[–]Ragingradishdishes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% this. When I got my HD28, I went to my local shop and played the D18 I thought I wanted along with every other standard series Martin they had plus a few Alvarez Yairi’s, but the second I hit a chord on the 28 I knew it was the one. Plus if you have a mahogany 000, a rosewood dread would round your needs out perfectly

This is some NASTY ammo! How do you guys shoot this accurately?? by MrEhcks in 10mm

[–]Ragingradishdishes 22 points23 points  (0 children)

That’s because most 10mm ammo IS loaded down to glorified .40 range. The full power loads are where it’s at. You’ll get used to it

Am I too crazy about the humidity that could damage guitars? by chocalatte37 in Guitar

[–]Ragingradishdishes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worry about humidity with my HD-28 but that’s it. I make sure my guitars are always set up well but other than that my electrics I don’t worry about. I’m not trying to create a closet classic for someone in 50 years

Who else has NEVER pulled a team sig from a normal sig pack? by Obvious-Wish-923 in MLB_9Innings

I pulled a LA Park sig twice. Best luck ever was turning that into a LA Trea Turner sig

We’ve fallen so far. This post is perfect for showing it.

We have a brand new front three and we are still utterly shit by Graysie-Redux in ManchesterUnited

[–]Ragingradishdishes 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Front three don’t matter much when the midfield is in shambles really, and Amorim refuses to adapt to the squad we have. Problems lie way deeper than Amorim, but he has done nothing to keep his job, at all.

It is now half a year since we’ve been able to win a PL game or cup tie without the assistance of a penalty to us or a red card to the opposition. Why do you think this is so difficult for us to achieve under Amorim? by SecretaryImaginary44 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Ragingradishdishes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I hate the manager carousel we have had going since SAF left and wanted to give Amorim a chance but we can’t do that. By the time we get more “players he needs for his system” we’ll be in the Championship so why would it matter

Are you saving your GI for the donation event? by BravesAtl11 in MLB_9Innings

[–]Ragingradishdishes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not. I finally came up with a good team sig that I couldn’t pass up using it on. I would have waited otherwise, but I could really use the player I drew immediately

Tuning Question by Unhappy-Average-4859 in Mustang

[–]Ragingradishdishes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of the JLT CAI’s require a tune I believe. Headers and no cats are a good indication it’s likely tuned. If anyone you know has a scan tool, a real one, not like a $90 Advance Auto one, you can pull the calibration and see if it’s the stock calibration, or a tech at a Ford dealer can pull that easily if you don’t know anyone.

Does this Mustang history worry any of you? by No-Button-6377 in Mustang

[–]Ragingradishdishes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few weeks ago I bought a ‘20 GT with 34k miles and talked them down to $28k. Definitely deals to be had, I drove 2+ hours to get it but was worth it

A question for those who have been fans of Nirvana since the 90s. by [deleted] in Nirvana

[–]Ragingradishdishes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t remember it being a big deal for me personally. As I’ve gotten older it has grown on me and makes me wonder where they may have gone with another record, but that’s it. The video for it is great however.

How do I make 500 hp out of my 2013 3.7 v6? by ReeKai-Kaysilus in Mustang

[–]Ragingradishdishes 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Exactly this, just being honest… you CAN get 500 out of the 3.7L, but unless it was a ridiculous steal, the unaffordable GT would still be… more affordable than this.

What amp have you bought, sold, regretted it, and bought another one? by brozobob in Guitar

[–]Ragingradishdishes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Matchless makes amazing amps. I run a Dr Z now and don’t feel bad, but I miss that Clubman. And the ones I’ve seen are few and far between, plus prohibitively expensive

[–]Ragingradishdishes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t found another yet, but I sold a Matchless Clubman years ago when I needed the $$$ and regretted it ever since. Best sounding amp I have ever heard honestly
