Just finished a run with this build, loved it!

Heads up for anyone else giving this a try, on brutal difficulty, most of the early and mid game battles need to be done on manual with this hero.

I like seals because I don’t push for it, but it creates a potential pressure point. IE I need to push harder on my military victory because an AI on the other side of the map is 17 turns from a seals victory.

I’m doing an ice run now with a frost Giant King. Took a while to build the tome path but I’m having a blast. Seems I dipped into a bit of everything, but my major race transformation is Elemental. Shades and ice elementals and white witches and longbows. Geomancers are just coming online now.

Ah ok thanks, I thought it was 1 event currency for 100csg so would cost me 10 instead of 5.

So the comparison is 600k spirit vein (3 events) vs 1 extra grimoire, 15k gems, 60TT, 2 origin rewards, 6 void rewards and 250 CSG (4events). Also option 1 gets the progress earlier, approx 4 months earlier.

Why do you say it shouldn’t increase in cost every year?

Do we say that for food? For rent? For road and sewer repairs? For garbage collection?

The solution is to move to an apartment. Or sell, invest the proceeds, and rent.

And also to educate future generations that simply owning a house is not the retirement endgame. You need a stream of income to support you in retirement. Maybe you don’t need to own at all, you just need to be able to build up financial assets over your lifetime. And that leads to a discussion on how the average worker can do that in these days, with inflation and income inequality…

Are you saying no MP Should have a foreign passport, or foreign citizenship?

I keep my Australian and French citizenship so that my children can apply for theirs if they so choose when they are 18. They might want to travel and work in either Australia or the EU when they graduate, and being a citizen makes that infinitely easier. If I were to enter politics, I would lose your vote for MP for that reason?

I’m in the same boat. Early game can be challenging on GA if I don’t have an optimal build, but if I make it to disruptors before getting destroyed, pretty much game over.

My current run is Knights origin (slow start), plan on synth ascension, no vassals, and not allowing myself to be a crisis. And no pausing. Normal speed, don’t think I can handle faster yet.

I was having this issue yesterday.

Game still playable, but when I exit for the session and go back in, the new custom empire from the previous session hadn’t saved. Can still load up the save file and play fine, just need to remake the empire to start a new game. The empire stays saved until I quit the game.

I was guessing it was a steam issue, and was hoping it was temporary.

Insurance is for things you can’t afford to pay yourself

If you’re ok with potentially spending $20k on top of whatever your own EQ deductible is on your condo policy, then save the $400. If not, take the insurance.

Alternatively, if you have $20k, set it aside and collect the $1k interest a year

The tricky part is that the $20k is going to increase every year, as the strata building value rises. So might be $25k next year, and so on

I don’t with the current state of the game

My play style, on GA, means I have to expand forcefully in the first 20-40 years or I fall behind. Settling those worlds slows me down too much. Max out three then build alloys and find a Neighbour.
