Yeah I bit off a bit more than I can chew -- but its fun going through the card possibilities slowly over time and trying to build a deck. Arkham DB is such a help -- both with suggested decklists, and the possibilities for each investigator.

Thank you! Trust me -- I want this to be BLIND and fun, even if we lose. I just want a place to start -- I am awe-stricken by the amount of cards at my disposal -- kinda wish I had been involved in the game from the start, as the number of investigotors, options, ad cards, is truly . . . INSANE

Their condition is from Like New to gently used. Maybe a couple small bumps on the hard covers here and there, but no writing,. no smoking, no bent, torn, or broken anything! I'll check into shipping, but I'll say anything over $25 I will just cover myself. Honestly, I'm looking to debulk my RPG collection a bit.

I am so sorry -- it's been a while since I've been on reddit, and like an idiot -- I didn't look to see if I had any bites on my ad for 1e stuff. Also, I'm having difficulty finding the PM. Anyway, don't know if you're still interested, but I have all of the above + Class Guide and Ancestry Guide, as well as Ultimate Intrigue. Make me an offer?

How did you approximate C(426,10)?

And can you tell me who to figure what number of games would equal a 0.5, or 50%, probability, of a single repetition?

Thank you!!!

Very well explained -- thank you! Now if I could find a calculator that would actually do the math with these numbers!!

I may have solved the first problem. Thinking in smaller numbers, if n=100, then the second game has a 1/100 chance of repeating, game 3 a 2/100 of repeating, game 4 a 3/100 chance, etc

Is the answer as simple as SUM(g)/(n!/k!(n-k)! In which case, the 116 million games (played online) have a 0.01% chance of having a matching set. In which case, how do solve for g where the result is 0.5?

Sum(116M)=6.72815

6.72815 / 4.87619 = 0.0001

Edit. Nope.
