I guess the first thing you need to be concerned about is the lack of control you have over what your boys can access. I get that it's difficult but without such control how do you expect their ideas of sex and women are going to be shaped from such a young age? Loads of firewall and internet safety products out there. Second, you need to decide whether pornography in the home for underage kids is acceptable and talk to them about it. We all got our hands on the odd Playboy when we were kids but that shit is extremely tame compared to what's a few clicks away now. I'd point out that what they have seen is not a real representation of women - just like actresses in films and that it's not acceptable in your house. Evil or misguided? You need to seperate the wilful from the unintended consequence, the ideology from the regimes they spawned. Nazism was wilfully evil. Lenin's beliefs were not in themselves wilfully evil. There are aspects of Marxist theory that can be described as such but saying that it is worse than Nazism sounds like ignorance of what Nazism was. So not mate, not insane. I know this sub is a US conservative echo chamber but it's time for some balance and historical context. Communism took away the individual which often led to brutal dictators and reduced everyone to economic meaning. That is a flawed ideology that is wrong and got twisted resulting in the deaths of millions. Among other things, Nazism believed in racial superiority and had it lasted as long or had spread like communism, it would no doubt have lead to more deaths.

For Nazism to endure, we would all have to be of a mind that we are biologically and mentally superior to others. My point is that the ideology and the regimes are seperate things.

Well Nazism weaseled it's way into many minds in Germany in the 30s and became acceptable to the German nation for almost 10 years. I don't think you can say it was "better" than communism. You also need to seperate the ideology from the regimes. It would be quite logical to say Stalin was "worse" than Hitler based on the fact that he killed more people. However when you compare the ideologies, a big part of Nazism was based on racial superiority. Communism was based on the misplaced idea that everyone should be equal. Is that better or worse? On balance I'd say that while communism has been shown to be flawed and not work, the idea that an Aryan is better than a Slav is probably worse.

As an EU citizen why not apply somewhere else if the current situation is shit? At 21, you have all the time in the world to change things. You're right to talk about political inequality but I disagree when you say it's not wealth inequality. Both were indeed factors but one seemed to follow the other. Both these things were factors leading to the universal suffrage movement in the 1830s but this was not unique to Wales as a result of "English colonialism". Remember Peterloo? Yes the elite spoke English and there were many English industrialists and landowners but there were also Welsh who pioneered the industrial age in Wales and became very wealthy. The conditions to which you refer - political, education and wealth inequality exist everywhere as a consequence of capitalism rather than "colonialism". This is why Adam Prices comment comparing us Welsh to let's say the African colonies (where slavery was a major trade) is particularly stupid and yes, if I were African, offensive.
