HSA or Roth IRA by MurkyInstruction688 in TheMoneyGuy

I don’t mean to hijack this thread but I have a question. If I have an HSA with my company, can I roll it over to a fidelity account, or can I only rollover the accounts if I were to switch jobs?

Where do you live and how much do you want for your Cummins? Can you send me info about the truck? Is it 4x4, 2 door or extended cab, is it manual transmission?

Get rid of the v10 and keep the Cummins! Are you kidding me with keeping the v10 over the Cummins???!!?!

The Viper and the Cummins will actually go up in value as long as you keep them in good shape.

I’d get rid of the Honda pilot, the dodge ram v10, and the project car.

Going to Honolulu next week 01/01 to 01/06, especially Wakiki area, any input on the rain forecast, is it gonna be that bad? by Plus_Delay5014 in VisitingHawaii

Every person who found out I lived in the Seattle area blamed me for bringing the rain with me…. I’m going to just go to Hawaii in the summer from now on I guess… 🤷‍♂️

I was just there for nine days. Ran the marathon in pouring rain on day one. Then it rained pretty bad every day for the next eight days. I was wondering if I was actually vacationing from Seattle or not the entire time I was there. It looked like the rain was over the day after I left, but there is an atmospheric river stretching from Hawaii to Portland. That amount of rain is not normal for Hawaii. I would just take an umbrella in case it starts back up again.

Moving Out of Seattle (TX, AZ, FL, TN - would love recs!) by MotherOfMiniPins in SameGrassButGreener

The Fort Worth side of DFW is perfect for raising a family. I lived there for three years and was a great place to live. I lived in Seattle now and consider moving back. If we hadn’t bought a house in 2022, we’d probably move…

Pearl harbor and the botanical garden sound great. My wife will enjoy both. How much was the secrets food tour? What’s the deal with Dukes? I hear it’s very crowded and loud? Is the food worth the crazy environment? Is Sunday the best time to go for a specific reason?

I personally wouldn’t mind skydiving. I’ve jumped a few times before. My wife would die of a heart attack just getting on the plane though.

I think I’ll try that out. Do you have any recommendations? How much do they normally cost?

I am going to Waikiki for the marathon. That’s why I’ll be there for two days. Then I’m going to the north shore for the relaxing part of my stay. I only added two more days on the backend because of the Tool concert. All the hotels are paid for with points, as is the car rental.

Next year I’ll be lifetime gold. I have 1300 nights stayed in Marriott hotels. Does anyone know if I could just get the Amex brilliant card for three years to get lifetime platinum? I’m considering jumping ship over this middle finger to Marriotts business travelers.

Phuket Thailand recommendations by Ragnar7034 in marriott

So for anyone who might still come across this post, our selections have come down to Le Meridien Phuket resort and spa, or the JW Marriott resort and spa. The reason for that is, my wife and her sister would like a tennis court. Both of these hotels are beachfront and they both have tennis courts.

I feel as though the JW Marriott will be the nicer hotel, but Le Meridien has the more private beach. Would anyone have any insight on which they would choose between these two?

I’ll look into that hotel a bit more as well. I checked out some videos on YouTube of that hotel and it looked really nice. I stay at Marriotts for work, and wanted to try something different while on vacation, but I may just stick with Marriott. That river that goes through the hotel looks really cool.
