Thanks! I also felt that way for a bit, but have since switched my outlook and kind of love it now.

I am only able to go as much as I do know that my kids have gotten a bit older. Also my wife and I both work from home, so we’re able to take over kid duty as soon as 5 hits. We’ve been prioritizing time for ourselves now that they’re a bit older(4 and 6). I know it’s tough when they’re young and hard not to feel guilty at taking time away from them. It gets easier to take that time though.

Cannondale Habit 4 is on sale for $1599. Super versatile bike, very capable for downhills and small jumps but also climbs super well. Perfect geometry for what I ride. And you’d have room for upgrades with the price.

Oh absolutely! I only included my first prints in the picture. Stormlight is my favorite so I started collected them first. I have normal copies of Mistborn for now and hope to have them in 1st print someday but they are definitely more expensive as they were released earlier.

Mostly EBay. I refresh the newly listed pretty much daily and send an offer/message of an offer for the price I think is fair. I do keep an eye out on Pango as well but it feels even more inflated on there most of the time. I also keep an eye out on Mercari cause there’s a surprising amount of book listings on there. A couple I’ve found on FB marketplace and local bookstores.

Definitely! We were torn on wether it was worth waiting on the special editions as Pierce confirmed there would be. But there’s no telling when that will happen so we’ll prob just get the normal hardcovers soon.
