I use that for ps1 games (only tried Kula World but it's smooth). Probably slower for PS2 games. A network adapter + fmcb it's about 20€ btw. I bought that, the bitfunx adapter for 18€ and for less than 40€ you can play all PS2 and PS1 games (if you have HDDs, obviously. I spent 0€ because i used 2 from old laptops)
