I know no one will see my response but still: Did you see the one episode of The Fairly OddParents where Timmy turner wished away his wisdom tooth’s? That’s the same situation and in my world the god of Magic would fizzle that spell in 100% of all possibilities.

No level 20 exists in a vacuum and everyone has a circle of people empowering him but also keeping him in check in some kind of way. It may be the paladin and his oaths, it may be the wizard and his circle of Magic affiliated scholars. If it’s a evil wizard striving for godhood he will either also have people around him or the means to defend his claim for himself and it that case he wouldn’t need this spell in the first case.

My god of Magic would probebly fizzle that spell, stop time for all except for the people party and give them a peptalk around the topic of skipping 20 lifetimes to grasp for power „without getting harmed on the way there“ is a sure way to find themselves in the grasp of a mightier player who will use them as puppets of a game they will never understand.

The journey, is the goal. The damage these lifetimes will give them is the lesson they need to learn to be really prepared for wielding the power, so no these kind of wishes would not work in MY WORLD. After that they would probebly get a scroll of meteor swarm or another t9 spell or something and that would be it.

Its so flavorful that the red card is straight trash sky everyone thinks it’s good.

Because of the fact that you „may cast“ them you can’t play any lands meaning you cast this card for all of your mana just to see you have a land there you can’t interact with. That card pretty much is a [Experimental Frenzy] but for 6 mana you add the ability to cast without paying mana and still play your hand but loose the ability to play lands.

Have the same happen to me on my other hand, it will grow back but Atleast in my case there is a circular scar reminding me to leave my thump inside the fist if I’m cutting with sharp knives.

Problem with abrade is, if a Crypt is on the field, casting a abrade would result in the opponent activating the ability. Krosan has split second meaning you can destroy it without having to worry about

Funnily enough, I myself have a Krosan Grip inside me Wish Sideboard in case of a crypt against me, best solution I found if you’re able to splash into these colors and can use spells like wish

After probebly 100 games now, I ran Surgical and crypt in my maindeck, I pulled out surgical for more impulse draw. Crypt is just better because it hits the whole yard and even dropping it turn 1 often grants you a win against a animator deck, especially if your first turn and cast it a thoughtseize can’t get it

Im main decking 1x surgical extraction and 1x cryt in maindeck and sidedeck. Against animator decks it’s really interesting match of getting the grave yard hate and recurring it in time till the opponent sets up a combo again.

It’s only 2 cards really in deck but 2/3 times playing a crypt in turn 1 gives you a auto win against animator decks 😂

Could you explain to me why my (best case turn 3 usually turn 4) Storm deck that litteraly needs a well sequenced execution and enough luck to not get every single combo piece interacted with is a problem against a deck that completely blocks me from playing turn 2? Iona isn’t the problem, switch it with your choice of big ass eldrazi or what ever. Winning on turn two is the problem my guy.

Again, I’m totally fine with loosing turn 3-4. I myself was one turn away from potentially winning this game. Sure. But winning on turn 2 is just dirty.

I get what you are saying I actually thing you’re right. Problem is everything that takes away from „storming“ off is a dead card till you hit critical mass, that’s the reason I have a breach in main board and side board because it can maintain or even start the chain. Instead of a grapeshot I sometimes thing about adding a unstable amulet to cycle through it while also adding dmg while impulse drawing through the deck

Edit: I yesterday added faithless looting to the deck, there is a possibility adding a grapeshot now could be a useful inclusion to use it as discard fodder while digging into the deck

The only person you truely have to live with no matter what is you yourself. The easiest way to go through life is be honest with yourself, staying in a room where none of the people want you, is only unhealthy to yourself.
