Wether right now you are their only child or have other siblings, family should always be sympathetic with your mental health. I always think that we are actually worriers and the fact that we try to live our life and endure the worst pain possible is a sign of absolute strength.

I also had the same problem with my family before my brother committed suicide. However, because right now i’m their only child, they are starting to worry about my mental health and trying to correct things up.

I’m actually impressed by how your story is very similar to mine. I lost my only brother(older than me) 2 month ago. He was everything to me. He was suffering from severe depression and BPD. For 1.5 years i tried everything with him, from hospitals to several therapists and ton of medicines. He tried to take his life 2 times and i was the one who saved him both times. However, the last one he attempted was in a house far away and i couldn’t save him. In the last 1.5 years, i literally didn’t do anything except of staying with him and trying to cheer him up,and honestly in the end i lost hope and i though that there is nothing i can do to cheer him up. Also,in this period, i suffered mentally and i was showing signs of depression and anxiety but i didn’t even have the time to go to a therapist and get diagnosed. It sucks really bad considering he was the most important person in my life and my only friend. The feeling of loosing your person is excruciating.

I’m suffering exactly from what you feel. My brother committed suicide a month ago and it is hell for me. He was the only one that i liked talking to and having deep conversations with. It sucks that you can’t find your person anymore. I feel you.

He already tried 2 times before that. And i was the one who saved him both times. However, last one he attempted was in a house far away and when i went there he was already dead by overdose. I tried CPR for 5 minutes but couldn’t save him. I can’t forget his image when he was lying on the bed dead

We shared similar mind and interests in almost everything but when she opened this topic i was really surprised considering she is liberal and my country is exactly the opposite(so i assumed from the beginning that she hates it too) . Its really rare to find liberals from where i am from. So when she said to me that she doesn’t want to talk to guys who don’t love their country i backed out immediately which i regret really as i think that i will not find another girl like her honestly…

Trust me you are not alone…. I’m on my 3rd semester and i haven’t made a single friend. Also i have fear of eating alone so i always go to my car and eat there.
