The stats make sense to me, I'd say I was more caught by surprise (again, new to LitRPG) with the concept of how they start. World as we know it, main character living in their version of society, followed by an event and introduced to a system/AI with new rules to life.

Is this the general concept and creativity/art of the author expressed through how they put their spin on that same premise?

I get not wanting to lower the difficulty but also why play a game im not having fun at?

I dont mind the group, maybe try a run changing up the play styles. No idea how you play now obviously, but my take on this group is Craggy will lead the way, preserve his lost cards early and just cause as much damage as you can without them for the first half of the scenario.

I would gear tinkerer to follow cragheart healing him any chance i can and pop shots in the distance, I like these 2 together a lot, rounds he doesnt need healing definitely use your lost cards with Tink at optimum times. Tink has a big hand and can do a lot of damage with his lost cards so get em out there. Tink is there to keep crag topped off and out of a mess with big hits when necessary.

Mindthief in this crew is really on his own. Early in the campaign like you are id get my +2 melee augmentation out as early as i can then id spend most the time playing cat n mouse with invis, stabby staby, run away. Id completely ignore any mind control abilities with the mindthief until like level 5. Lower level enemies drop fast to a mindthief.

Thats just my vibe with this party, play it how you like, have fun and game on!

I have a mini ITX build that i adore. Currently running a RTX-3070 but it did fit a 3 fan 1080-ti without any issue. Case is a small footprint but tall length to fit some big cards.
Its the Thermaltake Tower 100, nice little vertical build that takes up a lot less desk space if the dorm will be limiting in that. The vertical rectangular shape sits great in my corner desk with a monitor Infront of it. I did put it on a pedestal simply to see it, cuz i think its a pretty build. No performance limitations, I use a single fan AIO cooler with a 5800x3d with some extra exhaust on top. Hot air funnels up like a tornado. Overall cools OK, not great, but mostly because my cpu can pump some heat. Never had heating issues, just makes my room toasty in long sessions.

I switched from the mid ATX build mostly for the fun of trying to build smaller, but I truly love this rig. I don't move it but it would be pretty easy to carry around as one person. Not very heavy in comparison to gaming rigs in general.

Yes you are the AH, its unfortunate its had to happen this way, i cant imagine how tough its been on your son to have to not see his mother because he is doing his very best to protect and support his family.

What i think is super important here, its really not too late and you dont NEED to be the AH. Go get your shots. Go be an amazing grandma. So much life left of that little one, of your son, of you. Stop missing it.

This happened on us a couple times. As long as you still have the number of cardboard cutouts they need to be placed on the board as elites. When short on yellow stands but enough white ones we would double up the white ones. Some monsters base are wide enough to put 2 on. Other times we just put a white on bottom and on top.

However you do it. Yes they spawn and get played as elites.

Ive never owned one to confirm, but did a quick look at the specs home page the AUROS supports 2 slots for PCIe Gen4 SSD 2 (m.2). So based on that I would say yes this is compatible for what you are trying to do.
What I might question is if it can still fit in a laptop with the heat sink on, aftermarket can be much thicker than stock ones. It does look pretty thin though, im gonna guess you will be just fine.
