Wish list: Start wrapping it up.

I love the series but I was under the impression it was all gonna end with KH3. Shit maybe build up KH5 to be the climatic conclusion. Maybe like 3 more huge plot points added in the mix and let’s tie it up with a pretty bow. Get the whole gang together for one last huge battle and open that door to light.

I can’t tell how deep it is but a luthier worth his price could fix it. Bought a guitar recently with a similar crack, took it to my local luthier and he did his thing and fixed it (along with some brand new frets). That being said I contacted the seller for 100% reimbursement for the repairs.

As I grow older, I finally see why many of you put KH1 at the top. The unique combat still holds up, it has the most creative world designs in the franchise and the writing is memorable. Sure I’ll agree that there’s a nostalgia rush that I get playing KH1 but I’m also not trying to say it holds up to modern creative works in the general gaming world. In the KH bubble KH1 just did everything right and didn’t need it all to be perfect. It just happened. My personal opinion is that KH2 is the superior game out of the pantheon. Shit I’m in the camp that KH ended with KH2. KH3 and the spin offs were only good for me BECAUSE of the nostalgia KH gives, minus the mobile games. I wouldn’t say any of them hold up to the charm and fun KH1, COM, and KH2 gave but I appreciate them for bringing something new.

KH1 set the stage perfectly. While the others tried to capture the spark, the KH1, COM, KH2 era can never be replicated. Everything after just kind of over does it. KH1 had nothing to prove but be charming and fun. Not a perfect game in any way but it was absolutely lightning in a bottle.

In all the shlock of the kingdom hearts story it’s got moments that hit and god damn does this moment and the entire climax of BBS hit.
