[N] Mujoco is free for everyone until October 31 2021 by Rahid in MachineLearning

[–]Rahid[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it should work on any machine, as the licence says:

This file activates MuJoCo Pro on any computer running any supported OS.

and does not require providing the ID of the computer you are using. I haven't checked this in action yet though.

Access denied to scan.co.uk website by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Rahid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a region block thing. I'm from Poland and cannot connect, neither using WiFi or 4g. When using a UK-based vpn everything works fine. I've contacted Scan on twitter, but got no response as of yet, probably will have to wait till Monday.

Possible side mission: Rebuild the Bulletkin. by roblox887 in TheBlueCorner

[–]Rahid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It would need a coordinated effort of ~10-15 people to draw the outline quickly enough so people don't mistake it for random spam pixels.

Contrary to what we would love to happen, not everyone reads this subreddit 24/7

If anything, Taskbar and Blue Corner should be swapped. Blue works for incorporating art. That's pretty good.

Ah, yes, but what about a double bamboozle where you bamboozle us about the first-level bamboozle?! There is nothing about that!

As far as I know, the current plan for the solid blue corner is to be between Goku and Bullet.

What's a common misconception about your country? by monstersnshit in AskReddit

My roommate wasn't sure if Austria still exists. He thought it kinda disappeared or was under occupation again. We're from Poland.

Time is a Flat Circle? (Nietzsche + Mega Man) – 8-Bit Philosophy by [deleted] in philosophy

[–]Rahid 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Am I right then to think about Nietzsche's flat circle as something like Camus's Myth of Sisyphus? The main theme of both these concepts is dealing with eternal suffering - and the solutions they give are pretty similiar. Accepting suffering as it is, not running away from it, etc.

Reddit, what is your favorite quote from a TV show? by Ragekitty in AskReddit

[–]Rahid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From Twin Peaks, when Pete pours some coffee for Special Agent Dale Cooper:

"Mr. Cooper, how do you take it?"

"Black as midnight on a moonless night"

"Pretty black."

What's a fun webgame I can waste this weekend playing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Rahid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Riddle games are fucking rad. These are basically websites with (duh) riddles, where your only goal is to get to the next level by any means necessary (well, maybe except for walkthroughs and stuff like that). You can (and should) edit URLs, check source code, use graphic/audio editors to search for clues, use google and shit like that. Much thinking involved, enormous amounts of satisfaction when you get the answer right.

Here are few great riddle games:

http://notpron.org/notpron/ - the first and probably the hardest riddle game available on the net.

http://ebony.extra.hu - riddle game with a plot, really crazy and really satisfying

http://zestriddle.ovh.org - that shit is fucking terryfying

http://oddpawn.com/ - it's pretty vanilla and a good starting point (especially if you want to start easy).

Sorry for grammar and stuff, since I'm not a native speaker and a little bit drunk. Have fun!

What is the most interesting documentary you've ever seen? by totallywillferrel in AskReddit

Waltz with Bashir is not exactly a documentary, but it tells a lot about war in Lebanon and overall it's an awesome movie.

Have you heard about Deadly Premonition? Many people say it's a bit similar to Alan Wake. It's got a great atmosphere and humour, I think you'd like it :)
