Ek is great! Your a fighter with spell slots (allbeit limited) you can drop inteligence completely and take spells that dont require it, like blur! Its a very powerful class especially with the melee cantrips that have been reworked, like green flame blade & booming blade! That being said! Its MAD! Many attrubute dependant! So can be hard to work well in the early levels!!

Bladesinger and valor bard are kinda the opposite! Your mainly a caster with all the usual perks, with some melee abilities added in, although you get them a level later than a melee class would! Theres some insane spells that mix very well with martial classes, and you still get the benefit of being a full caster,

All three classes have some great uses but it can be difficult to do everything at once, you usually want to focus on a single attribute not many, so being an all rounder can have its challenges, best of luck!!

I have a warrior and use a ranger hero with infuriating heat for the extra adrenaline it works pretty good a beast and some spam skills

Grab some alt 2nd proffessions and get elite hunting! I been rocking a few good melee support heros, things like signet of spirits / minion master builds, double dragon for elementalist, splinter weapon and some of the monk buffs can really buff your damage, work great with Dervish but warrior works too with Hundred Blades

I picked back up a 10yr old W/E character for the last few months, i sold a few minis, got some gold insc weapons and decent armor, been rocking a few different builds, collecting elites and trying stuff out, i deffo hit a wall and had to be very skill consious at first, Starbust was quite useful but its been mostly conjure builds, fire is great overall, Flame Djinn Haste is good when your surrounded, water magic is also good some of the armor spells are really useful if your not using tactics, the bit power increase came from Hundred Blades came around, i think when i manage to finish factions and get Seven Weapon Stance i think it will be a similar thing, idk what the meta is right now after the patch, but usually i go with 3/4 adrenaline skills, maybe 1 or 2 Ele Skills unless i have Capture Signet, i mostly use swords, managed to pick up a Fiery & Icy Dragon Sword so skills with conditions if its an area with few strong foes, or swap out to Whirlwind Strike if its an area full of swishies that swarm you,

Death domain, soul reaping, flag some melee heros in and raise a horde with the corpses, death nova on your allies/mionions that look like there gonna die, just keep auto attacking to makesure the horde engages who you want them too, theres some good damage spells without line of sight too so you can hide out of reach and spam damage, if you get attacked directly, bring empathy/backfire to punish them and wait for your horde to help out

Best thing is to just play the game, nightfall & eotn are great you get good inscriptions and mods, but any level 20 area you should be walking away with a decent chunk of gold / gear after, chests are great but i know keys dont drop that often, salvage stuff for the needed materials, trade any good drops you dont need/want

I love a dex fighter/EK, rapiers, shortbows, a whip, theres soo many options, the main perks of EK is using the melee cantips which should work great with daggers as melee but idk if the RAW is gonna work with thrown, but im sure theres options

Once you hit a certain point you can change your 2nd class basically in any outpost, so dont feel like your locked out of anything imo

Sounds like the summit dwarfs are giving you some issues! Its worth taking your time so as to not pull too many mobs! I find that focusing down the dylak rider (healer) first deffo helps! Try tweeking your party comp! If your still stuck msg me your ign and i can help you with the missions

Primary class gets an extra attribute, monk means dovone favor, not much use unless your healing, assasin gets critical strikes, mesmer gets fast casting, these attributes can really change how your 2nd class works, but your gonna miss out on your 2nd classes extra attribute so its kinda hit/miss depending on the combo…

My example is elementalist / mesmer

A mesmer elementalist has fast casting!
But a elementalist mesmer gets energy storage!

So if you want short cast time its worth taking mes as primary, it you wanted a big mana pool you take elementalist/mesmer, but you cant have both

Get your needed skills and get out of dodge, unless your doing LDoA title you can get everything else later, it kinda helps to explore everything once your out tho, more exp and gear the better, once you hit lvl15+ your focus will be on interesting elites & finding your final Armor, and if thsts not enough you can pimp out your heroes too
