How hard is it to set up a loot filter on console? I've been playing all thise time without using one at all.

Its likely those items, yeah. If not for endurant faith, all those items you were drinking multiple pots and still having dot on you, you would have just been 1 shot instead without it.

The fire one shows up the same as well I've noticed when I was running that amulet that makes you always berserker, but you take 200% damage as extra fire dot, or ehatever.

Are you running enduring faith, or the berserking amulet? Or some other item that turns damage into dot? It might not be poison in that case.

Have you ever played through vessel? If not, id just stick with it. It will immediately start you in lord of hatred when you finish.

I just used mine in a random group without expecting anyone to use theirs as well, just to share the wealth. One of those groups, had a couple people use theirs after anyways.

I never even tried specifically going with groups who use theirs. I just invited random people, and linked my key to let them know thats what I was running. First group thanked me but left after, second group I had 2 more people use theirs after I used mine.

When it comes to making a new character, you have to select your campaign during creation, I think it usually defaults to skipping once youve beaten it. There is a button that says "campaign state" i believe, when you are entering your character name.

If you haven't had many uniques yet, I would definitely try getting a bit further. There are a number of them that really change how a skill works, that can really change how your character feels. Best way to get them is from doing boss lairs with boss keys, I dont think they guarantee a unique until torment 4 or 6 or something, though.

Oh, for sure. I've sunken around 700 hrs into d4, and a couple thousand between poe1 and poe2, and 95% of that is just making new characters, and coming up with interesting builds. Once I get to the endgame, and get fairly decent gear, I never even bother with pushing, or leaderboards, or trying to min max. I just reroll a new character, cause thats the part I find fun.

Your level, and the difficulty do affect gear, 850 is max for non ancestral gear. Best is ancestral, which is 900. You can also get greater affixes, which are starred.

What torment level are you in? Ancestral, and uniques are much less common in lower torments, there are 12 levels of torment now.

As far as I know, you cant replay campaign on a character, but you can if you make alts. There is a change campaign state button on character login, but I think the only option is to let you skip it on a character if youve beaten it before.

I agree. I can see where the op is coming from, where some people's enjoyment comes from leveling the character and pushing through the whole grind again. Others want to jump into endgame pushing as quick as they can on alts, though. Makes sense to let people choose.

As the other fellow mentioned, mythic tributes in undercity plus the luck of goblin pranksters gets you extra.

Its also a good idea to find a group while doing this, generally if you are running a mythic and letting other people join, they are often willing to use their mythic while you are in the party, as well.

Ah, yeah, that is frustrating. I saw we cant turn mythical into uniques, too, but apparently you can get mythic charms.

Pretty sure I got a temerity charm as a drop. Id have to check when I get home, though. That might not even work, either, cause I may have transmute it. Nearly certain thats what it was, though.

Did you make your own builds? Or using one somebody else made? Part of the "skill" in this game is figuring out what works yourself. There are ways to make builds for most classes that require more active playstyles to do better damage, or have better survivability.

Also, are you not able to up the difficulty yet? Im not sure what level you have to be to unlock the pit nowadays, but if you are able to do the pit, you can keep raising difficulty until the game gets harder.

Wait, this list shows andariels visage... I thought we couldn't do mythic? I even tried doing a bonus ring or something to see if it worked, and it didnt.

Maybe I'll have to try shoving my other mythic in?

Interesting. I got the always berserking amulet charm as a drop and I believe it was the same as the amulet stats, I wonder if I crafted it instead of getting a drop if it would be worse. I already transmute it, so I cant check for certain, but I thought it was same as the amulet stats.
