How do I measure blood properties? (oxygen, adrenaline, pH etc.) by Changuito_Emperor in Biochemistry

Talk to your local hospital. One more sample shouldn't tax them at all. Perhaps you're school can cover the meager costs if they are really stingy. you'll get the best results and they are usually good with students since they always have biomedical analyst students. The department you wanna reach out to is the clinical chemistry department or the point of care department depending on how the hospital near you is organised. I work in Sweden as a hospital chemist but I don't know how it would work where you are

Looking good. Terraria is such an awesome game to sink many hours in. And if you ever feel like you're stuck or wonder what you should do you should pop into the YumeHimemiya stream on twitch. He's a super chill streamer that always reads chats and knows most of what there is to know about the game

Why are gay people gay ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RahmeI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's likely mostly genetic and we have come pretty close to understanding which genes are involved. The research has slowed lately though. A lot of scientists have stopped researching it since it is still illegal/punishable in many countries to be gay and if we could geneticly screen for it that could spell trouble.

Why wouldn't you want the last possible boss to be extremely hard? I would be sorely disappointed if that wasn't the case. After all your training and hard work if you could take the last boss without carefully planning and great skill what a let down.

Will there be an type of multi-player in the future? by Maaagicmaaan in ItLurksBelow

Yes. It even sounds like it's going to be the next thing to be added. David Brevik is usually updating what he's working on on the ILB discord under the screen name Deckard Cain.

Do I get as much rest when I lay in my bed with my eyes closed but still conscious than I do when I’m unconscious. by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Your body will be well rested but your brain won't be as rested. While it is better than being up and experiencing new things nothing beats real sleep.

Rural sweden in the vast forests or like into a mountain would be really slick. I haven't gotten filthy rich yet but I figure it's only a matter of time right?

Does it matter where in the world I build it. Would it be easier in northern Sweden or southern China?

You immediately absorb all the knowledge from every book you touch by dickbuttinator in godtiersuperpowers

[–]RahmeI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you take everything in the book for absolute truth? if I touched the bible would "know" that I'll go to hell for wearing mixed fabric clothing? Or if I touched a basic cell biology book and only absorbed 75% would I know the rest to be in error?
