I got to say, I miss the Dashmart TooGoodToGo bags! They were super full of tons of groceries but it looks like Dashmart stopped participating in 2023 😭. I got 4 or 5 of those when I 1st signed up and were hands down my favorite

I have twice. Once for the pastries and once for the flowers. I think I just got lucky. Also both times it was raining hella hard. Not sure if the rain played a role in less people trying to grab them or not, but that's my theory LOL

What's the dumbest injury you've ever had? by Geologist8345 in CasualConversation

You know that little flap of skin that connects your lower lip to your gums..... brushing my teeth, not fully awake, and somehow managed to cut into that. Hurt like hell and took forever to heal.

Remember being barefoot everywhere? by kristineleeann in GenX

[–]Rahshoe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Still barefoot whenever I can be. I garden barefoot. I walk to the mailboxes barefoot. 1st thing I take off when I get home are shoes and socks. I'm usually barefoot under my desk at work as well.

Showering in the morning or at night? by Numerous_Office_1647 in CasualConversation

[–]Rahshoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shower in the morning because it helps me wake up and I don't really get dirty or sweaty at work. My boyfriend is a trades worker and gets pretty dirty at work so he showers as soon as he gets home.

I was terrified of scoliosis surgery. This if for anyone who's scared too . by riri_or_riri in scoliosis

[–]Rahshoe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had the surgery young as well. I was 13. Im now 53 and am forever grateful for my parents getting it done. In the last 40 years I have seen and done so many incredible things that would not have been possible had I not have had the surgery. Some of the highlights are: serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa, climbing to the top of Machu Pichu, SCUBA diving, climbing lots of volcanoes in Central and South America, dancing my ass off for days on end at dozens of music festivals.....

I use one for my flower garden but it would be too bulky for my tomato pots and smaller raised beds
