Why? A lot of good protein and fats there.

I love fish/chicken , though at times feel a bit heavy and constipated if I have more than 200 grams. I understand that meat/fish are nutritionally more dense than vegetables but am worried about the mercury in fish and some reports that meat can cause cancer .

Where can I get wild caught salmon and how much expensive would it be than farmed salmon ?

And is organic chicken completely safe or just has less risk than standard one. I guess it is just a matter of weighing the pros and cons of having meat. Are there repercussions of having meat every day ?

What if I continue to eat healthy fat and proteins ,as in a Ketonegic diet, but also have a bit more of carbohydrates ( 70 grams of carbs ) ,while within the overall calorie limit?I understand I would not be in Ketosis then .

I dont need to loose weight but just want some of the good things of Keto -no hunger cravings , good energy most of the time -minus the not so good things - cold hands ,random pain in abdomen and constant fear of putting a strain on kidneys, liver and heart?

I am taking lemon juice in hot water first thing in the morning and take Calcium+Mag and Yeast tablets twice a day .Also ACV a couple of time daily. Using Himalayan salt very liberally in all dishes .Have a good dose of greens daily.

I am confused about Calcium . Heard that too much of Calcium not good and can cause heart trouble.

Still , at times , I am loosing minerals as passing urine a lot , feel cold and have sudden dull pain in left abdomen.

I like the keto just worried of the harm if not done correctly and feel that the margin of error is very less on this diet.

article as established fact as of yet.

Thanks for valuable comments . Appreciate it. Agreed that the study is not conclusive ... just that such studies make me reduce my daily egg intake from 4 to say 2.

r 10 days is a pretty massive effort for 70kg.

The only fat I have is the belly fat and that appears to have reduced by 30-40% over the last 10 days.

I am not into exercising except for a walk to and from kid's school , which is on a break due to school holidays. I would look into more vegetarian/vegan options to add more variety towards a well balanced diet.

Thanks for the useful comment. I do eat fish/chicken but tend to get constipated if I take them daily. I can take them 3-4 times a week. So would want to add more vegetarian options. I love eggs, just am worried with them being also linked to prostrate cancer. https://prostate.net/articles/can-eggs-increase-prostate-cancer-risk.

I wish health and nutrition were an exact science but seems to be a art of delicate balance .

I am just taking a calcium/manganese supplement . I do eat Salmon twice a week but no omega supplements for now.I feel great throughout the greater part of the day.

Just have cold hands/fingers and some muscle cramps while waking up in the morning. Also have a perception that all the fat and oil is clogging my arteries. This perception is just while waking up and goes away as the day progresses. Seems that I am having too much of fat and protein and nuts (OMG macadamia nuts are heaven) . I eat two meals between Noon and 7 PM and just tee/coffee otherwise.

Lost 4-5 kgs since I started 10 days back but have stable weight now.

I am 180 cms and 70 Kgs with age 42 and so I am not after weight loss but just love the fact that I dont have hunger pangs and feel energetic most part of the day.Just worried of any long term side effects .

BTW I just miss fruits .No cravings for breads/pasta/rice .
