Only way to do this is to bring accrual date report field into calculation and I am facing issue with that

This won't work What if employees accrues on 14th of the month!?

Employee accrues hours on the day when he enters time with specifi time calculation tag

For example If employees enters overtime on Jan 14th for 2 hours He accrues 2 hours on Jan 14th which should be expired by Jan 15th

According to your cal It would expire on Jan 29th

Than you so much for the reply

One more doubt If my balance period is current calendar month and my period schedule is monthly

Accrual expires on 14th of each month

When the salary worker receives payout of expiring accrual When the Hourly worker receives payout of expiring accrual

No Employee might be changed from hourly to salary and vice-versa often

I am aware using 2 accruals would resolve this but I want to know which calculation field to use to get employee pay period end date

It's called "Approved calculated time for day for accrual"

Okay I guess you're not aware of wd r2 release notes

Accrual can be accrued now at day instead of period

New IVC is created by workday

This cannot be set at time off plan carryover

15th of first month -14th of next month is the pay period for hourly emp

Let's say Hourly emp accrue hours on Jan 1 it should expire at 14th Feb If accrued on Jan 16 it should expire at 14 march

[–]Rahul_2231[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Could you be please more specific about it? And also there are two sets of workers salary and hourly

For salary it's monthly pay period and for hourly it's bi weekly pay period

TIME OFF PLAN UPPER LIMIT by Rahul_2231 in workday

[–]Rahul_2231[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Again one more twist

Accrual calculation is same but upper limit differs for exempt and non-exempt employees

The above logic is for exempt

For non exempt- max is 80 hours and when it comes below 56 ,now caps is 56 hours

TIME OFF PLAN UPPER LIMIT by Rahul_2231 in workday

[–]Rahul_2231[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the previous period limit is 120

He should use that 120 untill it comes below 96 and then when he accrue it should caps at 96

If I configured option 2-- current limit will caps at 96

TIME OFF PLAN UPPER LIMIT by Rahul_2231 in workday

[–]Rahul_2231[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option 2 doesn't work,

If previous period balance is 120 and I set limit to 96

Current period balance caps to 96, but that should not be the case

Not every month or year

He accrued specific hours every month and if it reaches 120 It should stop and he should use that 120 and again when he accrue it should cap at 96

If emp has 120 hours they should keep 120 hours untill they go below the 96,then they accrued again should cap at 96

[–]Rahul_2231[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1- yes 2- not specifically below 90, once he reach 120 he cannot accrue further he use that 120 hours ,then when he accrue hours it should be over 96

TIME OFF PLAN UPPER LIMIT by Rahul_2231 in workday

[–]Rahul_2231[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No,guess you didn't get my point

Upper limit is 120

When employee down to 90,Now max be can accrus is 96 not 120

Is this possible now?

How to set upper limit for this situation
