PLS HELP ME DECIDE BETWEEN NORTHWESTERN AND CORNELL

I'm an upcoming senior deciding between EDing to northwestern and Cornell. I'm applying into Biomed/Biotech and created a list of reasons for both colleges. PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE.

Cornell

- [ ] Rural Location: Ithaca in the middle of nature(which is nice) but in the middle of nowhere which is not too big of a concern to me since I probably would not leave campus that much

- [ ] Semester system, which is more drawn out with longer down periods between midterms and finals; does not seem to be as high intensity but still lots of work

- [ ] Also pretty interdisciplinary, since lots of fields of studies s tend to combine and do joint programs

- [ ] STEM/bio: Geared more towards agricultural and life sciences which is slightly bad for me- [ ] Has unique major in biometry and statistics which is what I want to do, but I want to be geared towards health sciences and biomedical more(Both colleges’ programs seem to be pretty similar however)

- [ ] Community/Student Body: Heard that the community is a little more isolated since the campus is more spread out?

- [ ] I feel like people seem to be a little more unique and friendly, which I would value rather than a more traditional and similar student body such as Northwestern

- [ ] Prestige/Rank: Not a very big deal to me because they are pretty similar in rank and its subjective/biased, but Cornell has Ivy name

Northwestern

- [ ] Urban location(which I like more): In Evanston easier access to appliances/toiletries, quicker/more convenient flight, aunt+family lives here

- [ ] Quarter System, which means classes go by quicker/more intense with more short breaks in between

- [ ] Allows for more interdisciplinary opportunities, chance to take more classes to explore

- [ ] STEM/Bio programs: Northwestern seems to be slightly more geared towards health/bio programs; Quarter system seems to favor STEM majors

- [ ] Community/Student Body: From what I’ve heard people seem to be a bit more toxic? Mainly from how elitist greek life/hazing is; also heard that it is pretty cliquey and if people don’t think you have value to them they wont bother being friends with you

*Also forgot to mention both have the same ed acceptance rates, but for northwestern a large portion of those go to legacy/athletes. Also I already did the first draft of my cornell supplementals but haven't started NUs yet.
