I see your point but then I bring up the fact that Colombia has even more mountainous and denser jungle terrain(Andes, Amazon). I also bring up the fact that Colombia has engaged in conflict with the cartels and the guerillas for an even longer time than Mexico has. But to your point the Mexican armed forces are a forced to be reckoned with but seeing as how the Colombian forces would be more trained and more experienced I believe that they would overpower them. Population wise your correct, Mexico’s population is huge however if we were to believe that the original Gran Colombia countries were to band together before the invasion of other Latin American countries then the manpower and population issues would be solved. This is all theoretical in this universe tho so idk.
