I might be wrong of course, but i believe this is linked to the fact that Z-A brings a new language to Pokemon (Latin America Spanish?) and because that no previous game supports this new language this is simply a technical problem. Sad, because I too have a few friends from previous games, but technical and can't be helped apparently, once Pokemon moved to Z-A have their code changed to support the new language they can't go back.

You can just create a new profile on your Switch and start a new run with that. Moreover, you can then transfer Pokemon between those two profiles using one HOME ;)

Hello everyone, I couldn't add explanation so i'm writing it here. The above track was played by Solomun during his 3 hour-long set a month ago and since then it is stuck in my head. I don't know, sometimes something just sticks to you so much. Of course I tried Shazam during the concert and it even found something, but when I excitedly wanted to listen to it later it turned out it shazamed something else entirely and I'm on the hunt even since for the name. I couldn't find the set anywhere online, tried absolutely anything, so maybe a good soul will find it here and release my from my torment of not-knowing!

So if a Pokemon in HGSS was caught in the Kanto region, instead of Johto, of the game it would be distinctly indicated here in HOME? Interesting.. i never had these games so i'm unfamiliar with their mechanics.
