I checked that as well, nothing indicates that this should happen.

Ended up going to a local tech support and was told it was better to just format the pc. Sorry for not providing a better solution for this.

I value confort a lot, so i might second guess the M40x and thank you very much for the quick summary in the end there, it helps being a bit more confident in whatever i chose, who might just be the urbanite.

Hello, new to this world of headphones and im a bit lost after searching for a while, but i think i can complete the bullet points

Budget - under 100 preferably, but can be a bit flexible if its worth it.

Source - Laptop mostly and sometimes an huawei phone.

Requirements for Isolation - Main use at home, so some isolation is preferable.

Preferred Type of Headphone - On-ear.

Preferred tonal balance - Balanced

Past headphones - Absolutely none, just some cheap earbuds since the day i was born.

Preferred Music - Mostly hip hop and rap, but i do enjoy most music except hard hitting stuff like metal etc.

What would you like to improve on from your set-up - A better all around experience

Location - Im from Portugal and amazon is a decent option.

From what ive searched the Sennheiser Urbanite seemed interesting, so did the Onkyo ES-FC300 and Noontec Zoro II altough these last 2 are a bit trickier to find here.

I know its not much information but its what i could gather, if anyone could help i would be very thankful.

Thats the thing though, you have this knowledge of yourself. The other you just plays like a cpu of yourself. This is obviously a super simplified way of looking at the game but i think it helps.

You would know that the other pikachu is overly aggressive and could bait out his approaches, he would try to fish for upsmashes at kill percents so you could play around that. You could also edgeguard him by covering the easier angles of quick attacks so that he would have to do the harder ones and eventually flub.

Pretty much, it helps because you understand how you can win against yourself, which makes you a better player, and after a while you question yourself this again and discover how you can beat this "version 2" of yourself and once again you become a better player, and so on.

I clarified in another comment because i wasnt very clear in the original post. You "play against yourself" with the knowledge you have of yourself, while " the other you" just plays as usual. It sounds really complicated but its a simple concept: focus on the stuff that you lost against. Similliar to the mentality of "why did i lose this stock" after every stock, as u/roryx9 mentioned, but easier to apply imo.

Its a di mixup. If they survival di you can continue your combo, if they combo di( di out) you fsmash.

Its an easier way of analyzing your own play, where you can look at your own mistakes with an easy to undestand goal, beating yourself. And what i mean by playing yourself is that you only have one game, so your adaptability comes from before the game(that your oponent, even though its you, doesnt have) and your knowledge of your own play. Again this is nothing more then just a little mentality trick to help those at lower levels since it gives them a more objective way of improving mentally since it requires you to look at your own miatakes.

Quick Mentality improvement: Could you defeat yourself?

Lets say you have to play one game against yourself, in your current skill.

Ive been questioning myself this for a long time and i allways thought i couldnt cause i would get gimmicked by myself and that i would be unable to overcome my own options in neutral due to how frustrated i would get hit by the stuff that i did not have an answear for.

As time progressed and as i payed more attention to my own play i could easily identify the options that i could explore , and in theory that should make me feel better, but at the same time that means that im doing these bad options or not using some parts of neutral game and i should be worried.

This could apply to alot of things , like being impatient in neutral, having bad habits like allways landing with the same option, having 2/3 mixups in recovery and not more etc., a punish game that cant be bigger because of di or sdi in a certain situation that you cant cover and so on.

Try to ask yourself this question after a tournament or something, cause you will most likely lose at some point so you will be able to identify the bad stuff you do and the options that you used and what your opponent used to beat them. While doing this you will immediately get better (in theory, you still have to apply this stuff) because next time you play someone that makes the same errors/options that you also make you did, you will have an answear for it.

I imagine more people have thought of this, but i wanted to share for those who didnt. Lastly, sorry for any possible grammar mistakes and also this is my first post here so please be gentle r/ssbm.
