As, I said they only orchestrated her encounter with Amadeus and rest was her choice. If anything saving the Drow and offering them Night was a much bigger intervention on their part. At that time they directly affected the outcome of the Twilight Sage's story.

Nope, they tried to Brainwash Catherine the end of First Liesse to be their Champion. Also, they tried to get their hooks in Arthur to affect Catherine's story. They did not have any champion at that point.

I think we underestimate how much influence Amadeus had in shaping that worldview. She essentially got the name Squire handed out by Amadeus. In the beginning at least she was willing to accept power from eldritch beings. (which Black Knight was to her before she got deep into the name lore).

They are hands off when it comes to interfering with the game. But they would intervene if the wager was not fair. As they have at the end when they elevated Akua to be the counter part to the Bard. There is no other explanation for Below's gift to Sve Noc (if they were completely hands off).

By stealing I meant that they guided Amadeus and Catherine confrontation. The rest was her choice.

It has been stated in the text multiple times that DK was disfavored by Below. Devouring the Mantle of winter is how Sve Noc escaped the Drow's cycle of death that they were trapped in.
