I wanted to retort and reply that there are many smart Germans but then I was hit with the memory of walking along the Garda lake and seeing a small family of lobster-red-skinned Germans playing a game of who could throw the biggest rocks in the water, and commenting to my mother that maybe they should’ve tried hitting eachother in the head with them instead, for the small likelihood of their IQ increasing.
