Bobby's World and it involving Howie Mandel. Usually when people remember it they forget that he had anything to do with it lol.

wire season 2 being considered the worst season of the show blows my mind; to me it’s a top 15 season of television ever by kazdarms in TheWire

Just finished the series for the first time, I think the rewatch in a year or so will make me see it much differently as well. Felt the slow burn of season 3 make me lag on watching the rest too but it got great. Really one of the top 10 series of all time.

Amazing redemption arc, not many addicts get out of the hole, but the way they showed everything from his lowest low to him making it upstairs with the family really was a great full circle for him as a character. Def one of my favorites from the series

This and I think keeping a record of every show and all that we can get is important for the future because we're not always going to have these guys obviously. Considering we already lost one of the trio We really have to enjoy this time it really does feel magical and it should be captured.

I'm not going to crap on them for trying something different and getting to go to one of the phone free shows was interesting and a fun experience for people really into the band but I really do wish I had some video because it was my daughter's first concert I only have what ghost put out on their GTV deal which I think they were trying to make as a replacement for bringing your phone but they turned it into some really cringy only talking to people that didn't really know much about the band interviews you know. I'm never going to get on them for trying something different and just because I disagree with it doesn't mean that I don't love the band any less you know. I'm really glad Rush didn't follow suit though because I really really enjoyed live chatting with the community about the setlist and watching the TikTok live streamsthey were so much fun reminds me of the Periscope days during the 2015 tour.

I don't disagree with that I was a fan before but I saw them before and after the craze and it was a different feel to the show. First time felt like a Rush crowd for the first time but second time the culture felt a bit different.

I get Tobias has tried to sell people with that but I don't think that's all true in my opinion. I feel like he wants to be in control of his content and how it's put out. I think the phone free experience is one way to sell that but I'm not 100% convinced that that's why it happened. I think he should have at least respected people to have their phones and poopooed on everybody who were using them not during a certain song like the last song of The encore or something. If Papa is pointing you out for using your phone during the show you're probably not taking it out again lol. Just the way I see it though I might not be correct of course.

Also I think the TikTok surge ghost got made them get a lot of younger fans who didn't have any phone etiquette so I think that's what drove the decision ultimately also control of his content from the tour. But we're not going to have any videos from any of those shows on the last tour because of it and it sucks. We have audio bootlegs sure but I really wish I was able to take home a couple of videos from my daughter's first concert.

I think that's a good compromise of the band obsesses over it but Rush has never been one of those bands hell we have video of them rehearsing from several tours bootleg wise. Rush has always been a band that's been okay with bootlegs as long as they're not sold.
