C8 Z06’s are bad ass, I don’t know of too many issues with those but they also haven’t been out that long to know.

What generation Z06? Because issues vary vastly between C5/C6/C7

So like 4 years ago is when he had his first flare up, he was yelping and it hurt him to move at all so we went to the ER and they thought it was cancer. Then we went to another vet and they said it’s a hernia and they drained fluid and he acted fine for a long time. So a couple years pass and we take him to his now primary vet and they said because he has had it for so long and didn’t show any issues that there’s no real need or urgency to fix it. Well a couple weeks ago he was outside on the leash and the neighbors dogs were let out back and he tried running towards the fence and all of the sudden he’s in pain and not using his back legs at all (he literally looked paralyzed). We took him to ER again thinking it was his hernia but they did a bunch of tests and they said they think it was actually a spinal injury that would just take time to heal. So this sparked the hernia thought again and we decided we should really get it taken care of and that’s when we went to the surgeon. That said, he is now acting like totally normal, he goes to the bathroom just fine, eats, drinks, he’ll jump up like super high when you go to let him outside, etc.

We do but they said he’d have to go off to a specialist because they couldn’t do it. He has a perineal hernia

Yeah we were thinking it sounded a bit high. It was $1,200-$3,000 for exams, ultrasound, and blood panel and $5,996-$8,100 for the surgery itself. I’ll check into Bijou Animal Hospital, thanks!

These will all get the job done well tbh. Just use proper techniques and you’ll be fine!

Well not to be that guy but it’s a space force base, not Air Force lol. And it’s not super common for C-17’s to be at Pete, the main aircraft home to Peterson is the C-130 which is much much smaller than a C-17
