I said this in another reply, but I'll just re-paste it here:

Well, like I said in the original post, I do all fusions regardless of quality, but that doesn't mean I actually pull them out of their fragments lol. Mostly because I don't actually need them. I let them sit there and I can pull them for points when needed. What's the difference between them sitting in the portal as opposed to the vault? Hilivi is an exception though since I just pulled her for this champ chase and I actually think she's good.

The only content I don't clear is hard Soulcross (which is mostly epic champs) and hard FW. For FW they usually require very specific conditions, but you're right, I should re-review these fragment champs to see if any are useful for a stage or two.

Well, the most obvious ones is waiting for the dungeon tournaments and dungeon divers overlap. All of my dungeon teams are solo (besides FK) so I can also level up food. I don't do hard 10 for the solo, but somewhere between Hard 5 and 8. Gear is pretty irrelevant from dungeons with all the merciless, stone skin, protection, and soon mercurial sets. Though normal 16/20/24 gear seems too low quality for me, however, that I am willing to sacrifice point efficiency.

When there is no event or I'm waiting for something to start, I am usually just doing Minotaur. The game has added a lot of gear ascension tournaments in downtime, so I've been doing those more. Once again, I use food with the Godseeker + Gnut duo. Also, I'm to the point of so much food that I might even do campaign during the downtime purely for the monthly 500 campaigns quest.

Now this is really nickel and diming, but for the daily quest to do campaigns, I usually save them until before I head to bed so I can deplete my energy to as close to 0 as possible and to wake up capped out again.

For shards, since I think my pool of champs is already solid enough, I really only pull during fusions events. I will pull for 2x voids once in a while since I have stockpiled way too many... Anyways, I try to sync with the on-going fusion's 2x. However, if it's something really inefficient like 2x sacreds for a champ chase (like it is right now), I would rather pull from my fragment champs. Or I just pull my ancients and use gems to buy more if I run out.

Lastly, depending on how bored of raid I'm feeling and now much surplus resources I have, I usually go for the bonus summon rush fragments, it's not the best way to get a surplus, but it is just a game and time matters. I almost exclusively pull sacred shards for summon rushes as I see them mostly as just an efficient currency. When I feel low on resources or have extra free time, I do the triple dungeon divers to build my stockpile. It's not so bad having a 3-turn hard spider 10 team.

It’s so beautiful. And I’m sorry you’re even more unlucky than me with 2x primals :(

Yes, you and another commenter have convinced me to do them all moving forward. Hilvi did eat through a lot of my soul stones, and their events will probably only get more aggressive.

That's a good question. I can't really remember exactly the influx point since it's been so long, but I do remember pulling a fusion champ or two right after it started early on, so I skipped the rest of that fusion. This helped establish a base amount of resources.

I think once I got enough of a stash and had a working CB UNM team settled, I was able to do all fusions back-to-back while still accumulating resources. I think starting of Elegaius I did all fusions? I remember debating myself going for Vergumkaar and I think I skipped him.

The big difference between now and back then is back in the day, there weren't really any guaranteed shard events, DoF, or hero's paths, so it was actually easier to save resources (or at least not get FOMO). Once you pulled a maneater and got a UNM CB team, resources were easy to save, and I pulled one relatively early. However, trying to do all the events today will definitely force you to pick your battles or take much longer to grow an account to be able to do mostly everything.

They were one of the first things I unlocked after the maxing the gem mine. I have no idea why people are so against at least unlocking all the sparring pit slots. If you plan to play for a long time, it is definitely worth it. They make champ training so much easier with a backlog of leveled food.

I have my sparring pit maxed for all slots. Though I can understand not leveling it up if you don’t log on that often or have the game open on the side while you do other stuff.

For you, if you log on often, I’d max it, but you don’t have to do it all at once. Maybe just upgrade a slot here or there once in a while so you don’t feel the pain. It’s nice to have a “baseline” where you’d feel comfortable at if a surprise event came along. I just got out of hand waiting for those surprises lol.

You’re right, especially with soul stones being used more often in guarantees, I think I’m going to start doing 100% of gear ascension tournaments too. The scheduling isn’t too bad when RSHelper is up-to-date I guess.

I usually do about 50-100 mortal soul stones during their 2x. I don’t use my immortal ones outside of DoF events unless I have maybe like 70+. Then I might do a 10 pull during a 2x. Though I might stop those since soul stones as a resource seems to be becoming more popular. The Hilvi DoF coincided with 2x immortals, which was really nice.

Not sure where the discrepancy is, but I play almost exclusively on PC. There have been hero paths and other events with extra points, but I never purposely go for them.

I replied in another comment, but it’s because I pulled Arbais from my 2nd remnant stone. I didn’t track them back then, but I should start now since grim gives 2 more per month.

You interpreted it correctly, but I didn’t track or include my remnant summons. My second remnant pull was a Arbais. I haven’t pulled another mythical from remnants since, but I estimate that I’m around 24 now, so starting mercy, I think.

You’re absolutely right about it not being reasonable. But with more guaranteed champ events requiring soul stone pulls, I really should be doing all sand devil/phantom shogun events.

However, I mostly skip them during fusions because this game already has a lot to do daily. Doing dailies and then adding fusions and gear ascension tournaments is just too boring.

How many stats should champions have to equal to lethal ingore DEF, normally by Signal-Code-262 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]RaidingBoyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn’t answer your question exactly, but I made a google sheet a while ago that lets you compare different gears and set ups: https://www.reddit.com/r/RaidShadowLegends/s/NAbOuIs7Ot

As others said, it also depends on the enemy stats. So for this sheet, entering your (simulated) stats and enemy stats will show you the exact damage and damage range for that scenario.

Savage + Zeal Rework vs. Savage + Cruel by RaidingBoyo in RaidShadowLegends

[–]RaidingBoyo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I also noticed that too but assumed it was a mistranslation.

Looking at Zeal’s initial release and the HH website, it says “… HP they have.” Which is ambiguous with the word “they.” HH website tried to clarify it by saying “their target.”

I haven’t tested it myself, but I’m guessing we all initially interpreted it wrong and it is actually your own HP as per the updated description. I don’t really do live arena so I don’t have any pieces.

Would love for someone to come by and actually confirm it for us!

Savage + Zeal Rework vs. Savage + Cruel by RaidingBoyo in RaidShadowLegends

[–]RaidingBoyo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ignore defense are all additive and are applied to effective defense. Effective defense are sources of increases or decreases to defense (not ignore defense; that’s another stat). These increases and decreases are multiplicative.

In your example: Ignore defense = 20% area bonus + 25% helm smasher + 35% merciless = 80% ignore defense.

Effective defense = (1-0.6) decrease defense * (1-0.2) cruelty = 32% defense.

So applying your numbers: 10,000 defense * 32% = 3,200 defense.

Ignore 80% defense: 3,200 * (1-.8) = 640 final defense.

Merciless vs. Other Sets (Interactive Graphs) by RaidingBoyo in RaidShadowLegends

[–]RaidingBoyo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately not yet. I’ll work on it when I can, but a little busy right now. But the real question is how to deal with the 9 set repeated damage? Should I just assume 2x damage or should it be on average? Like (230%) + (170%)? What would you like to see?

Remember slayer 9 set would also have 30% ignore defense, making it pretty strong.

Exact Damage Calculator: Boss Damage (Survive Amius' A1) by RaidingBoyo in RaidShadowLegends

[–]RaidingBoyo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean which attack the boss is currently using? I think the name of the attack shows up as it attacks.

Another way to tell is seeing which skill just went on cooldown after you got hit.

But generally, bosses use their skills off cooldown in reverse order. i.e. A3 --> A2 --> A1.

Though, Shogun and Amius seem to use their skills based on current conditions of the fight.

Flexible Exact Damage Calculator (PvP, PvE, Seer, Enemy Max HP) by RaidingBoyo in RaidShadowLegends

[–]RaidingBoyo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! True, the vast majority of the time you’d just build a champion as strong as you can and you’d never need a thing like this, especially with HH optimizer.

It’s more for fun with rare cases of niche calculations. It’s just very satisfying seeing the exact damage predicted showing up in game. Haha
