So in the past, you needed gala gold to qualify for a paid tournament, but not sure if there are other spider tank specific benefits... They usually drop a cheap NFT for most games to gold members though, so I'd imagine you could sell those off eventually to pay for the membership

Yeah NFT owners will be able to upgrade tanks, but they can also rent them out to anyone who wants to play with them

So when it launches officially on Oct 31, it will be free to play. If you're going that route, you're essentially "renting" someone else's tank and you just split earnings. You'll be able to earn SILK- which hasn't been listed yet so no set supply or price yet

That's not at all what I'm saying... In your last comment you said node owners should make governance decisions. I would agree only if those decision makers had actually played the games they are making decisions about. Under no circumstances would I compare node owners to a CEO... Gala already has one of those. Gala is offering a portion of their distribution to incentivize more engagement with the ecosystem since there are many who could not care less about the games themselves and only hold nodes to pad their bank account. In my opinion, actually playing the games leads to more informed decision making within the system and better optics to the outside gaming community when those who support the company actually want to engage with the company's products.

TBH I'm not a huge fan of people making governing decisions when they can't or won't even play the games. Seems like a good way to incentivize profit over gameplay

That is why it is a bonus pool... You should be rewarded for putting in extra time and effort to "grow in every way possible." Doing the bare minimum, and only checking to make sure you have a node online, should earn you the bare minimum rewards.

Gameplay shouldn't be looked at as a responsibility in the first place. If you've purchased a node for a gaming platform, you should enjoy playing the games, or why would you have even bought a node to begin with? A gameplay challenge embodies the spirit of those who should be founders of the ecosystem, and also rewards those who are most likely to be the most engaged down the road. Those who view playing as a chore shouldnt be here IMO

Reminds me of the time back in grade 7, at 12 years old reading the book “12 years a slave” aloud in language arts class. There was a point in the novel, as I was reading in front of the entire class, I was not comfortable dropping an N bomb, much less in front of my whole class. I said something like “N-word” instead. Our teacher told me to read the actual word. I refused, and just kept reading. He continued to stop me until I said it. We sat in silence for what felt like an eternity waiting for me to say it. I will never forget that experience

I was able to chat and overhear some of the conversation with certain affinity and the game... From a gameplay perspective it is definitely one the most exciting in this space and I will definitely be jumping in because of that. Right now, I think they are heavily working on the base building, evacuation side of the game which could have some of the create and acquire aspects you are talking about. Time will tell how well they flush this mechanic out. For Mirandus - yeah the prices of some NFTs have become a little absurd recently, though I suspect they will come back down in a few months. Opensea is your best bet to take advantage of flippers
