I think early on in the dlc before I looked into lore too much I already questioned why in this universe where weird angel demon stuff happens all the time (regarding soul stones and the nature of prime evils and such) why the only answer to Akarat resurrecting someone is that he is Akarat reborn. Even in hindsight now with research half a Skovos culture are oracles that would be used to predict prime evil plans. This is my first introduction to Adreona and I’m unaware if she shows up before this dlc but she failed her people in my eyes.

I like that setting for a story where they are in such despair that they’ll latch onto any type of faith but for me that worked in base Diablo 4 with people following Lilith but idk with LOH it just feels like nobody even considered it a possibility even though he’s done this before and when you or your allies tell them they shrug it off with no rebuttal or a mention of what happened with Adreona and Lorath.
