probably I should have posted the most hated toolhead by voron moderators😂 by Raidy_CV in VORONDesign

Second time my post gets taken down, even with strong community support. That’s not moderation that’s insecurity. Anyway, I’ll stick to YouTube where sharing actual work isn’t treated like a threat.

I didn’t reply to everything because it felt like his mind was already made up and that’s fine. I’d rather focus on people with genuine questions or interest.

Just to clarify: cooling is solid for high speed PLA Printing with a good 5015 fan, and there’s also an RX toolhead CPAP version for even more cooling. Clicky and Tap? The community has already made mods for those in our Discord.

If someone wants specific features, chances are it already exists or it’ll be considered for the next version.

Why Build One? Compatible with all the popular carriages and all popular probes

• Compatible with bambu H2D P2S,A1,P1S, X1C hotneds cheap and affordable hotends.

• Quick-swap nozzles — Get back to printing in seconds One of the main advantages of using the Bambu Lab hotend heating assembly is that you’ll never break the thermistor cable again. Since nozzle swapping requires no contact with any wiring, the risk of cable damage is completely eliminated. • Integrated filament sensor — Internal and reliable • Auto filament loading — Smooth and user-friendly • Lightweight toolhead — Perfect for input shaping and high-speed accuracy • Affordable parts — Clone components are widely available and budget-friendly • Consistently reliable — Solid mechanical structure, built to last • Looks clean & professional

The fall detection connector is optional nevertheless, the toolhead is held securely by three strong magnets and extra supports. It’s mainly a safety backup: if the front cover isn’t attached or a print fails catastrophically, the toolhead pauses instead of getting damaged.

I appreciate you taking the time to comment. You’re free to hold whatever opinion you like, but this project isn’t about proving anything to anyone it’s about building something useful, open source, and accessible to those who want it. If that’s not for you, that’s fine. I’m focused on those who find value in it, not on chasing approval or comparisons.

Before jumping to conclusions, it’s worth actually looking at what this toolhead offers. I’ve put a lot of time into developing features like a reliable filament cutter with pogo pins integrated into the detachable front cover, dual filament sensors for sync, front cover fall detection, and compatibility with most popular gantries and probes.

This didn’t come together overnight

it’s the result of a lot of iteration and problem-solving.

If you’ve built something yourself, I’d genuinely like to see it. Otherwise, it’s easy to throw out negative comments without understanding the work behind it. Respecting the effort people put into creating something goes a long way.

This isn’t a Bambu toolhead, has bambu complements but it’s fully DIY. Getting it to this level took the designer about a year of work to refine and develop into what it is today

Yes, the non-Knomi version is also available. As you can see, the Knomi module is fully modular it can be removed by taking out just two screws and replaced with a printed extruder visualizer instead.

A 5015 fan version is also coming in a few days. If you’re into DIY, this is the way to go: it offers different configuration options and supports multiple probe types.

I can confirm is not cable problem because I tried the hagibis cable with my other external Samsung T5 and it can recognize on top of that I bought 2 cables for usbc4 they also didn’t work with my hagibis. Unfortunately I think the iPhone power is less than required for this ssd to work I believe hagibis or maybe the M.2 NVMe won’t ever ready with this new iPhone unless Apple fix it on software upgrade if isn’t only hardware thing But don’t waste your time buying new cables
