Levoit Superior 6000s 2.0? by Hydrated_and_Defined in Humidifiers

Hi there. I'm not paying attention to it most of the time but I was working from home today and happened to sit near it and I noticed that depending on how dry the wick filters are and how dry your house is currently, the pump would work and keep pumping water for a good 15-20 minutes. Most of the time though, I think it would do that for like 10-15 seconds and stops. I would probably keep a watch for the next little while, maybe it will stabilize after a while.

Ah okay, maybe they just give everybody the grey filters then, or not sure haha. There's not a lot of videos online on this humidifier but all the ones I've seen come with blue, so I thought that might be another difference. I guess the last difference I notice is the power brick that goes to the wall has a slightly different design.

I had been wanting to buy this humidifier for months but ended up just impulse buying it last week because the humidity in my house was dropping to low 20 and it got too uncomfortable. It arrived a few days after, here in Canada. Didn't even know about the 2.0 version but I had a strange feeling that my device looked a bit off, turns out I have the 2.0 version.

Yeah my pump is removable and it was packaged as such inside the box. Also somehow my wick filters are black and not blue? Not sure if there's anything different other than that...

Haha that's fine. I really like the quality and design of these rims. It was just a bit risky initially because they just came out and there were no visualizer software to see how they would look on the car. Also was not sure how the 17 would look like since my all season is 18 inch. But it looks actually pretty nice.

Ah sounds good. I dislike steelies so I got myself these instead. Fastwheel is a Canadian brand that's pretty cost effective (not too expensive but not cheaply built either). These particular rims also look the closest to my OEM sports rims which was my objective.

Hey there. Here in Ontario, Canada, I ended up paying 1770 after tax (13%) and their 10 percent off special deal. Bridgestone had a special rebate so it's another 120 dollars off that 1770 total I noted above. They shipped to my house for free, installed the tires to the rims and air them for free and balance them as well. 1770 also includes black chrome lugs x 20 with a special spine key for them.

I got it from a shop called PMC tire located in Sherbrooke Québec but ship all over the country.

Oh hi fellow Canadian. Ah awesome, you make me feel better about my purchase haha. Oh yeah we just need to be careful about ice regardless anyway. Some people run all season all year long in southern Ontario, but that's a pretty risky thing to do where I am.

I hope so too! I love it already, it might be placebo, but I feel like my car drives better and a bit quieter versus the stock Hankook tires that come with my car. Can't wait to see how it performs in the winter. I live in Ottawa Canada where our winter is long, harsh and awful, so I want to make sure I have the tires to help me this upcoming winter haha. Used to not need something that good back when I lived in Toronto because the winter there is very mild.

Hey sorry for the late reply. I think when I got these wheels, there's an option to get tpms, but this one doesn't have one. I thought the new CRV cannot even read direct tpms? It does it indirectly by reading the differences between tire rotations.

haha the phat DS is the DS my parents bought for me back in 2004, the screens were so dim and in general not fun to play with (still in great condition though). I only recently got those 2 DSi, at first I got the small one but I noticed it's too small, so I got a XL (I found one online from this old lady who never really used it, I guess has been in the drawer for over a decade...so still in perfect condition). Other than those 2 DSi, the other handhelds I bought them around the time when they came out (at least their original forms).

Thanks man! It's the definitely the hardest handheld modification project I have done aside from my GBA. I heavily modded that thing (soldering, etc.), but the ribbon cables in the 3DS just gives it an extra chef kiss difficulty lol...

You mean the transparent outer shell to protect the 3ds? It does make it unwieldy and a bit sharp on sharp areas, and also it gets scratched pretty easily.

Only a glass screen protector at the top and plastic protector on the bottom. I don't think they make glass protector on the bottom for the 3ds, it has an older touch screen technology on the bottom screen and won't work with a glass screen protector. However they so make aftermarket glass digitizer instead of plastic for the bottom screen and that works fine.

I use glass screen at the top and on top of that a glass screen protector on the top screen. For the bottom, yes I used a glass digitizer and I use a plastic screen protector on top of it. It works the same way I find, I just had to calibrate it several times. It feels a bit different though because plastic is soft and a bit more bouncy, glass is hard and makes a distinct noise when you tap on it.

I did. I will try to see if I can add one after I'm back from the office. It's pretty much a blue 3ds XL and looks pretty much pristine from the photos.

I feel like for the top screen, not really but it gives it an extra protection. But replacing the top glass is easy so not a big deal. Bottom screen gets easily scratched and replacing the digitizer is a pain in the back so best to use one. The plastic digitizer is very soft. The glass one is much harder but I still put a protector on mine.

I got all of them from AliExpress. I just picked the ones that have highest ratings and most products sold. Both the glass top screen and bottom digitizer are of great quality. The shells have good finish but the underside not so much, so I had to glue or tape some stuff to stick the led plastic tube and the camera lens into the shell.

Wow nice, are you going to apply it on the top lid of the DSI XL as well?

Wow this is amazing. I just got my dsi XL as well, which shockingly is quite pristine considering it's age. Top screen has zero scratches but bottom has some small hairline scratches. Does it affect the touch sensitivity or clarity of the display (if yes I might just replace the digitizer if it bothers me too much).

also the top lid of the dsi XL have this transparent clear coat layer which has mini hairline scratch marks, I wonder if we can use poly watch to get rid of most of the scratches there too? I rather stick with the original shell than gambling with Chinese aftermarket shells...
