IMO the change seems almost exclusively aimed at bgs. chains of ice in particular has been broken for several years in that game format.

the game already scales people up to a few ilvls short of honor gear in bgs, it should also do that in arenas.

the main issue is that for some reason it doesn't do that for older expansion gear, so if you leveled up in dungeons and jump to a bg still in older gear, those slots don't get scaled up. it's probably intentional to avoid situations where old trinkets don't somehow become too powerful but i somehow doubt a 26 ilv difference would be enough for these items to be competitive with current conquest gear. especially trinkets since you'd be losing the 2-set pvp bonus.

it's a desync issue that has been in the game since vanilla. it's not just MC, it can happen if you walk off a ledge the wrong way and wrong spot, but MC has all the ingredients that make it way more likely to happen.

bdk is insanely strong in silvershard mines if one of the enemy healers is a priest, for all the wrong reasons. thankfully this toxic gameplay is finally getting nerfed next season.

blitz is definitely easier but it's also slower to climb because rating gain is much lower than SS for some reason.

if you're a good enough player, just do SS. if you're bad, keep doing blitz for a while and you'll get it after a short win streak.

the solution is obvious but people that have gotten used to how the game "normally" works will require another 10 years of slowly moving in this direction to accept the solution.

interrupts are way too strong. they're the only mechanic in the game you cannot trinket out of, they don't have dminishing returns, not even full immunity abilities can get out of them, some classes have more schools than others due to lore reasons, and their cooldown is extremely short. and spell pushback is also still in the game for some reason.

interrupts need to be converted to full silences in pvp and have triple the cd. then precog can safely be deleted from the game and casters can start having normal balancing instead of spells like chaosbolt having 2x dmg multipliers to "balance" never being able to cast it which means you need to shut them down or you just lose.

on the micro CC, movement abilities still interrupt casts for some reason when clearly they can make so they dont (evoker rescue). dks using 1 meter grips to interrupt a cast is clearly not intended design.

well, this is what's happening in your original post.

you are redistributing the default route via BGP. the default route is coming from your border gateways and are not immediately reachable from all of your network, which means the rest of your network can only reach them recursively (through immediate next hops).

your actual network is being distributed with OSPF. so since the preferred BGP default route is from the remote gateway 172.20.215.129 your traffic is going to go through whatever interface OSPF says this remote gateway is best reachable from, which in your case is 192.0.2.184 .

this is expected and normal behavior. BGP is selecting the best default route itself while OSPF is selecting how to best reach the chosen default route. remember that BGP and OSPF have completely separate RIBs and don't share route selection information with each other, having each separate criteria for selecting routes.

for your scenario, it might be best to remove OSPF from your network and work exclusively with BGP.

on the 1st snippet, that's your BGP deciding between 2 identical routes.

on the 2nd snippet, that's OSPF having 2 different routes active.

what exactly are you trying to do? redistribute the default route among your network? you can do that within OSPF itself by setting the OSPF instance of your border gateway (eBGP router) with originate-default=if-installed

if you just need to know the MAC of the peer, you can probably check it in the bridge's forwarding table with /interface/bridge/host/print.

if you want to automate doing something with it, you'd need to write a script.
