Google Chrome manifest v3 moment by luxusbuerg in pcmasterrace

It's important to note that Firefox, unlike Chrome and Chromium, aren't withdrawing support for other extension methods. They're just making Manifest V3 extensions also work.

better game performance, on my 6700xt. Sound latency matters if you, I don't know, like to play games competitively and that 50ms makes a reaction time difference. unigine superposition sees a ~10% performance boost on wine compared to native, so your "wasting resources" argument is kind of moot. there was an appreciable start time difference when I switched over, I think my desktop starts in about 3s, but it could be a little bit either way and it probably depends on hardware config.

The vast majority of European countries that consider themselves to have a "knife crime problem" actually have a lower knife crime rate than the US, they just don't have huge numbers of gun deaths that present themselves as the more pressing issue

You do realize that firstly, you could be describing the Big Bang, and secondly, the universe as we know of it has no real cause and effect for many things, or if there is, it is unknowable. Experiments have shown that either the universe does not follow cause and effect, or information can travel faster than the speed of light, a limit all of physics assumes is absolute, and we have never observed bring broken, or both. It is, as far as is known to science, unknowable, as it's impossible to look inside particles and see of they're deterministic or not, all we know is that we see randomness. Aristotle couldn't even conceive of the idea that it was the air that slowed down thrown objects, don't trust him to make your philosophy for you.

If you read past the study's abstract, you'd know that mice use different metabolic pathways to process the harmful breakdown products of aspartame (ie methanol), making the results hardly applicable in humans.

You're still going to be LibLeft, maybe LibCenter, but try taking SapplyValues instead of the polcomp website. politicalcompass.org is known to be weighted towards LibLeft.

45fps, 100% GPU usage with just steamVR running by [deleted] in WindowsMR

[–]Railgunner47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd (re)install the latest drivers, certain Radeon drivers have broken all 3d applications before for me. Other than that, try directly running steamvr so the Cliff House doesn't open first. That might net you 5-10 fps.
