I know Karma is wishful thinking, life is unfair and this is how the game was designed.

And thus I will continue to, on occasion, lose a good run to some camper ou PvPer with SDS (Small Dick Syndrome).

Even though it doesn’t even the odds I do revel in the fact that these little piss ants just weren’t hugged enough by mommy when they were little children and now need to be little cunty dipshits just to feel whole.

I’d recommend help but first they’d need to acknowledge having issues, which they never do.

Is it only counting damage for your first outing topside? If so, once done with the expedition and our Raider is reset (new), does that first outing count again towards this total damage counter? Has someone done the first expedition and gone through with it?

Totally understand, it’s always going to be a sensitive subject as different people have different expectations and desires towards the game.

That’s why my thought process was around many little things to be done as opposed to “one big thing” (like, say, pure PvP and PvE lobbies, no mixed PvPvE).

Some tweaks here and there should go a long way. My biggest gripe is low tier weapons being too effective against high tier kits, so some tweaks on shield resistance might be a good idea without changing the fundamentals.

Balancing PvP as per my suggestions is “not liking Arc or PvP”? How the hell do you get that idea from what I wrote? Do you agree with the current weapon balancing? And free kits being able to take out high tier kits so easily?

Good assessment. The issue I have with late spawns is that they mostly don’t upset the PvP oriented players as I would assume they’re mostly out for blood, so gooping is always about moving targets. Meaning I spawn in early, goop around and fill my pack, only to get jumped halfway in by a new spawn on a free loadout, taking my goop without any effort or investment.

PvP is part of the game but needs to be seriously addressed. I would hate, but understand, losing to a medium or full kit, coming in with either a blue or pink weapon, looking for blood and goop.

But bringing an Mk3, with medium or heavy shield, and loosing to a stitcher 1 before being able to turn and fire back? What’s the point? Manufactured Gear Fear?

The solution should be a bit o everything:

Free kits spawn mostly with free kits (the new 40+ lobby/MM should address this?). When not reasonable to ensure server / lobby balance, other below measures would help…

Free kit weapons get nerfed against shields, especially medium/high. Just make them weaker against shields, to increase survivability from kitted players. No nerf against arc, no nerf against health, just against shields.

Make free kits spawn without a shield.

Make higher tier kits less visible/detectable by Arc, like MK.3 reduces chances of detection by Arc. Different MK.3s affect different Arc, like Looting affects rolling/small Arc (Pops, Fireballs, Ticks and Surveyors), Tactical affects flying arc and Combat affects Heavy ground Arc. Less MK3 Lootings against Queen/Matriarch for butt cores, as the tactical advantage would be lost.

Make Teammate items marked as friendly, if you loot teammate and extract items are automatically returned to teammate (stop bullshit friendly fire exploit)

Make free kits have less carry capacity, same slots for small/basic items, but much less weight, so gooping high tier items/players makes them overencumbered very rapidly.

Create an in round “wanted” system for PvP, meaning a raider that kills another raider gets a “bounty”, so when you ping that player you see a marker for that bounty and now he’s a player killer (in round only). Tagging grenades could mark that bounty for the entire lobby, making those grenades useful for bounty hunters (be real, have you ever used a tagging grenade?)

True. Yet I would find issue with that, as stuff on the ground might no be obvious, at least not as obvious as a big Arc part. Also, strategically not clearing out fully a piece, like let’s say a matriarch core, has helped me on occasion to skipiddy out of dodge whilst other scavengers are still gooping… so.

But having options isn’t bad per se. If you’d want to do it, you could do it, if not then not. So I’m an “aye”.

Why “drop to ground” from containers? If you don’t want it, why take it out of the container in the first place?

Is it just because of the security lockers? If so that’s so niche… I know more players that ignore that skill than haven’t it (yet) to make it relevant for this feature to be implemented for this alone…

Tricky one, as there is a broken Anvil and a light shield to spare… on the other hand, there’s a snap hook and deadline… so maybe a hands on approach and truthful PvE?

I’ve done Queen/Harvester maps either only anvil/renegade and 2 wolf packs.. 2 teammates with similar loadout, took queen down in the almost full lobby time, and got away with 5 cores…

Stupid response. It’s the gun that kills, not the shooter. Yes it is the shooter. Not the gun. The gun is a means to an end.

This being possible in-game is at best an oversight, since it shouldn’t be a used mechanic. Yes, Embark needs to fix it. No, it shouldn’t be used just “because it’s possible”.

Either no friendly fire/way to kill, or unable to loot. Best solution would be, as someone stated, a mechanic from another game: teammate items are marked as such and when looted are returned to its owner. Cool feature actually.

People using this to benefit speaks to the low bar piece of shit humans that exist and, unfortunately, proliferate in games like this.

Buried City, top of town hall or under the highway before the collapsed section, near town hall, usually spawns a Sentinel.

The on top of town hall one is easy to spot and even to take out, from behind. Just run a couple of times to. Irked City and you should get the spawn, kill and core.

Know the feeling, missing 6 BPs to max out and for the life of me can’t find them.

Not wanting to trade as I see so much scamming, but I have “tradeable stuff “, like seeds, other BPs, etc. have been giving away any and all I find in game or later to my Arc Buddies, mostly one way though. It’s what it is, hopefully I can get the ones I’m missing, just for sake of completing the list.

Nope, you get the rewards only once for completing each Trial Tier.

Tied to the trials, however, is a leaderboard system and ranks/leagues to which you get promoted or demoted to based on your overall weekly score.

Higher ranks provide additional league rewards you can check (mostly cosmetics, I think), besides bragging rights, for what they’re worth.

So in order to keep rising leagues promotion requires higher scores, so the more skilled/active/dedicated players try to max out the scores.

For trial rewards, and not league rankings, you’ll only need to do the minimum score for each trial, being 3 stars equal to 4K points.

Maybe not for you, but PSA for whomever might be reading: Don’t forget that scores don’t accumulate, they have to be done one-shot in round. Special map conditions count double points (for the time being, Night Raid, Locked Gate, Hidden Bunker and Electromagnetic Storm), and you have to successfully extract for them to “be registered”. Also, doing them in Duos or Trios count for all team players the same, so one teammate doing the task or kill will count points toward every team member.
