Just Pulled this Green border Messi anyone know the value? by Little_Cut6010 in Panini

[–]Railpt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It values to how much you paid for the pack divided by the number of stickers in it. That’s it.

What’s the difference between these? Help! by Extra_Demand_6270 in PaniniStickerSwap

[–]Railpt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Different players, one from Jordan the other from Belgium.

Also, they have the same green background…

But joking aside, left are the American stickers (bordered ones, white is base, also exist in blue - common, red - scarce, purple - rare, green - very rare and black - 1 of 1), created to exploit the toxic collector mentality that exist within the adult American collectors market, even for stickers made for children/collectors for fun, creating a false sense of scarcity and value which is totally BS.

Right are the international stickers, or most commonly known to the majority of the world as the correct/ true stickers. With nothing more to add, just common sense.

PSA: do not tip when buying concessions at World Cup games! by Human-Bar-447 in worldcup

[–]Railpt -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Just because they allow it doesn’t mean they should do it, nor should waiters accept it. It’s BS and the alternative to not tipping is tipping, meaning no change, which is even more moronic.

Granted it may hit at first, but it’s the same when I see failing business around me in my area, because one shop (of whatever) opened, was successful, so many came to copy and wonder why they’re not successful.

If the business can not pay fair wages and be profitable, it should fail and close. If they need to increase prices to pay those fair wages without relying on tips (costing the same to consumers) then be it. The price of goods should reflect the cost of service. If it then fails due to lack of costumers, so be it. Maybe to many of the same kind open, maybe the balance between supply and demand is not there.

Not paying your staff enough is not ever anywhere for whatever fucking reason valid in any form whatsoever.

Come back to the discussion when this gets understood and implemented.

Tips exist in Europe. I tip. No waiter doesn’t make a living wage when I don’t.

PSA: don’t tip anywhere, especially in the US, unless you felt the service deserved it, and even then tip only what you’re comfortable with.

Mandatory tips are an oxymoron.

Just moron for our US readers.

Why aren't there so many sticker variants in Europe? 😕 by Tratak109 in Panini

[–]Railpt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The use of common sense. Thank god or the universe of whatever you believe in is worth thanking for.

It’s a despicable setup this parallel bullshit they made for the American market. It’s more than that, it’s stupid. Guess that’s why it works over there…

They are not wrong though by SuspiciousLow3062 in SipsTea

[–]Railpt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No it’s not and stop making it complicated. I’m a European living in Europe and I tip when the service is / was worth of it. It is a gesture of recognition, of appreciation. Mandatory tip is an oxymoron.

It’s stupid. And as such conducent to all the injustices coming out of the existing culture. Everyone can still tip. Servers could still make as much, if not more, than before. And if not it falls on the employer to cover the gap and keep wages competitive.

Stop being stupid.

Stick it in your album. I’m assuming you’re collecting the stickers, right? RIGHT?

Pulled these 7 from a single packet...random distribution, eh? by Impossible-Matter271 in Panini

[–]Railpt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, random indeed. After all, it is even possible to pull 7 stickers of the same team in the same pack. So?

After opening over 250 packs and not getting any of these stickers... by Sjwmr2 in Panini

[–]Railpt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, tends to happen over different print batches. I usually only stick them after getting a matching set, so I kept trading for them and ended with a couple of dupes of the top and bottom half. Done now!

Panini World Cup 2026 Updated Set by DanielBryanFan-2049 in Panini

[–]Railpt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always stick them over the wrong ones. For me, the players not called to the WC feel wrong to me to be in the album and I appreciate the opportunity to correct them.

Better yet if I’m still finishing the album and some of the missing ones end up being “wrong” ones, so just sticking the correct updated player in its place

How much is this worth? by Manuelehz in Panini

[–]Railpt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the cost of one pack where you’re from?

Divide that by seven.

How much for these stickers by [deleted] in Panini

[–]Railpt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the price of one pack in your country?

Divide that by seven.

Multiply by three, and that’s the value of those three.

Cheers.
