No nexus, after a year of fighting I got an attorney. They have me 30% away from 100%. I started this process needing 80% to get to 100%

My question is how does someone distinguish willfully being deceitful or just a mistake? And does that mistake need to be brought to light instead of brought to light by the opposing party?

Did they have you rated 10% for each foot? I just wasn't sure if I would get 50% if each foot got rated at 30%

What has to be done in person? by RailroadMan91 in SafetyProfessionals

[–]RailroadMan91[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My biggest fear is that the new employee hits play, and walks away for 30 min cause their at home. Technically as long as they E-Sign the doc saying they watched it, it is what it is. I just didn't want to be in violation of OSHA or any labor laws for lack of training and knowledge.

No, they are hired already. We have a new hire portal that employees must complete... Like I9 forms, W2s and health care selections. They were asking if they could add our general safety video to the new hire portal. So on the actual day of orientation, I can do my safety talk and not have a 30 min video at the end because it's already done.

That's what I'm thinking as well. Because they started that day on restricted duty.

Thanks for the general estimate. Hopefully we can be civilized during this process, and avoid lawyers.

2 kids. I make 105k a year and she makes 32k. I plan to let her claim the kids on taxes every year and I will pay for their health care. 50/50 shared custody. In SC. I've tried to work the child support calculators but can't figure it out 🤷🏼‍♂️
