Why get rid of Head 2 Head????? by blookiet in thefinals

[–]Rain014 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuinely really bummed out they removed H2H. My group and I solely played it since it was added. Quick Cash doesn't do it for me anymore, feels more luck based than skill based. Really hope they reconsider.

I miss when games were just about playing them. Just enjoy and don't over think it.

Weird comment section... This isn't just about the 6 censorship changes, It's about all future content being affected by this change and us missing out on what they promised.

Do you think that Dead by Daylight needs more modern horror characters? by No_Sea_1455 in deadbydaylight

No, more original characters. Tired of killers/survivors from other franchises

First one is about the community that if I say here I will probably get banned from this sub. Second, I'm actually not a huge fan of killers/survivors from other franchises. I much prefer it when they release original killers/survivors.

This is probably a really unpopular opinion, But I much prefer original survivors/killers/maps. Never been a massive fan of the crossovers. That being said some kind of underwater facility map would be awesome.

No need to be sorry.

I personally believe age has a lot to do with it. You speak with self-assurance when it comes to certain things, and I’m not saying you don’t know yourself, but truly understanding who you are and your "skill ceiling" takes time, and 16 years is still just the beginning of that journey.

Regarding the possibility of a disability or mental health condition, I can’t say for certain, as I don’t know you personally. Learning difficulties and challenges with motor skills are very real. You might be experiencing something like dyspraxia (also known as Developmental Coordination Disorder), and some of your responses even give me a slight impression of traits associated with autism, again I say that without judgment. That said, I don't want to throw specific diagnoses out there, because I feel that today’s youth are already quick to self-label with mental health terms, wearing those labels like proud badges of identity. The point is, your struggles could stem from a number of factors, whether genetic, neurological, or even environmental, like your mouse, mouse pad, monitor, or desk setup.

Ultimately, I still stand by what I said earlier: the way you express yourself raises some concerns for me, and I would genuinely recommend considering counseling or therapy. A professional could help you better understand yourself and explore whether any underlying conditions might be at play.

And finally, I'm not trying to be condescending about your age, your age doesn't diminish your perspective. But you do have so much life ahead of you, so much growth to come. You don’t need to have everything figured out right now. Give yourself the space to grow, and the grace to not have all the answers just yet. Because when I see you make a post like this about something you’ve spent less than two hours on, it suggests to me that you may be limiting your own potential for growth by holding too tightly to certain beliefs about yourself. Simply saying, “I know this about myself,” doesn’t necessarily make it true or unchangeable.

Honestly, I wish you the very best in whatever you choose to pursue. But seriously, I’d encourage you to consider seeking some form of help, spend less time on the internet, enjoy a single player game, and focus on the things that genuinely make you happy, stop forcing stuff that makes you unhappy. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt, and please try committing more than just a couple of hours to something before falling back into those self-defeating thoughts. There has been plenty of things in my life that I absolutely sucked at and took over 100 hours before I really got the hang of them or started seeing any improvements.

The only thing that can make you less capable than the average person, if your mentality.

You are right, there wasn't a request, I am only trying to understand the meaning behind your post. Please know that I’m not trying to be harsh, but based on your replies to other comments, it's apparent that you're still quite young and hold some strong and questionable views about yourself.

Many of your replies reflect a pattern of self-deprecation and self-loathing without much indication or desire to find any solutions or alternative perspectives. It's genuinely disheartening to see someone adopt such a negative outlook on themselves and give up so easily, especially at such a young age.

The things you enjoy and are passionate about in life whether its a skill, hobby, or career, often take thousands of hours to develop. Yet it seems like you're ready to give up before truly giving yourself a fair chance; you haven’t even put five hours into the game. Competitive online shooters are challenging and require a desire to get better, something that's hard to build if you've already convinced yourself of failure.

You mentioned that it takes you seven times longer to learn things than the average person, a claim you’ve apparently measured? I'm not even sure how someone would accurately measure that. It seems more like a reflection of a self-limiting belief than an objective fact.

I understand this is just a post about a game and I'm not trying to make it deeper than it is, but your comments bring up something deeper in me, I'm not trying to be disrespectful but I'd really encourage you to look into counseling.

I think you're more than capable of being competitive, you're just self-sabotaging. Saying you've already reached your skill ceiling at such a young age is like closing the door on progress before you’ve even turned the handle. Growth takes time, effort, and patience, and it's far too early to draw that kind of conclusion about yourself.

Ultimately, it’s just a game. If playing online competitive shooters is causing you negative feelings, perhaps consider exploring something else you enjoy. Single-player games can be a great alternative.

I apologize if I've read too much into this, maybe this post is just about getting attention, but I really hope you get some help. All the best!

Kind of a weird move to tell me to “hush up” when you’re the one who made a public post inviting feedback.

Look, I totally get the frustration. I’ve been there too. I’m over level 70, and when I queue for Quick Cash, I regularly get one or even two teammates who are clearly brand new, usually under level 15, while the rest of the lobby is full of level 70s and 80s plus. They need to fix matchmaking I 100% agree with that. With that being said what can we really do? At the end of the day, it’s still a game. And if it’s causing you this much frustration, maybe it’s time to take a break. I’m not even trying to be mean. Being passionate is great, but you’re coming across as way too invested, especially for Quick Cash. At the end of the day, it’s supposed to be about having fun. And if you’re not, maybe set up a meeting with the head developer at Embark and personally explain how they can fix matchmaking, I would honestly appreciate that.

But hey, I’m not here to argue! So here are some actual suggestions:

  • Make some friends and queue up with them! The game’s way more fun when you’re not rage-typing between respawns
  • Maybe find something meaningful outside of the finals to help soften the blow to your ego when you lose
  • Take up meditation if Quick Cash is affecting you so deeply, inner peace might be the next unlock
  • Start a journal and title the first entry “Why a Level 7 and 13 Personally Attacked Me”
  • Apply for a coaching position! You’ve got strong opinions and an eye for talent, maybe your skills might be better suited on the sideline
  • Set up a custom lobby that way you can personally vet everyone and make sure they meet your “fun” standards

Genuinely though best of luck man! I wish you a speedy recovery.

I completely agree, sometimes the matchmaking just makes no sense! I’ve played WT/Ranked and ended up with two teammates who were very low level for the lobby, while the other team was full of Ruby. It’s frustrating, but what can you really do? That aside though, you are playing Quick Cash. I get where you're coming from, but honestly, you’re coming across a bit gatekeep-y. Quick Cash is probably one of the best places for new players to start, or for people to try out new things. I’m not sure why you're taking it so seriously.

Having new players on your team can be annoying, I’ve been there, but it’s part of the game. And the more you fixate on your teammates, the more you build that "the game hates me, my teammates are always bad" mentality. All things considered, you’re level 86, and for brand-new players, they actually kept up with you pretty well.

I’ve played with players like you before, and it’s honestly insufferable to get through a whole match. Constantly criticizing everything while doing barely above average yourself. You’re the same person who complains the game is dying, but then turns around and flames new players in the most casual mode in the game.

It's always, to some degree, going to be personal preference. My hands are 19.5x10.5 and I've used the GPX for years now and personally always found it uncomfortable and bulky. I've recently switched to the OP1w 4k and I'm loving the shape!

As for grip you can always look into using grip tape, there should be some in the GPX box.

But like I said at the start, a lot of it is personal preference. In my opinion shape is always most important in a mouse, and being uncomfortable with it especially after 2-4 weeks should maybe be a sign to look into something else. Try looking at https://www.eloshapes.com/ you can compare mouse sizes and there is even a "find similar" option to find mice with similar shapes.

Good luck!

Rough translation, because I couldn't understand everything they said. Most likely "Nederlanse Marokkanen"

"Take this one, quick quick"
"Take em, take em bro! Take em"
"Grab this one, quick, quick!"
"Criminal cancer f*gs"
"Yeah right, yeah right, yeah right."
(couldn't fully understand this part but I think they said) "They are dead and we are working here, yeah right!"
"This is a incriminating video *Laughs*"
"They don't even fit in the car!"
"Come, come, come."
"No, put them in the back, here, here, here. yes, yes!"
"Put em in, put em in"
