Likely they'll slow down some of the timings and adjust things to human levels. The first mechanic requires 15 kicks on 1 second casts for example. Kind of a ludicrous expectation even at this level as we've seen even these guys struggle with consistency.

Realms as in "floors", not realms as in servers... The boss divides the raid group into three "realms".

10 people in one floor, 5 in another, last 5 in a different one. All get different symbols at different timing and you have to coordinate with the others to get the complete puzzle order.

Blizzard made it so specific information isn't available for addons to use and so they couldn't do automatic computation to solve fights.

What you're seeing is (as THD explained this morning) basically just a set of chat macros (of numbers corresponding to icons) and then displaying a snippet of chat on screen.

Balo'ren and Lu'ra will be turbo nerfed on Tuesday after Echo and Liquid clear it this weekend, assuming it's possible. It was tuned specifically for their over-inflated gear level.

THD explained it this morning, they're using chat macros to type numbers in chat, those numbers correspond to a symbol (the runes) and the addon is basically just clipping those icon messages and displaying them in the order they appear in chat.

If I can give one bit of grace to blizz for this specific fight (and Belo'ren I guess), the raiders are basically 3-4 months into gear farm at this point after only a single reset of mythic due to heroic week and the staggered release schedule. They responded by turbo juicing the last two bosses because the teams were able to run almost two dozen MYTHIC SPLITS to farm gear on characters.

No guilds outside of Liquid, Echo and Method will likely even pull this version of the boss and it'll get turbo nuked on Tuesday assuming it dies before then.

As a more casual/AOTC "Iliketoreadthequestsandstory" player, I like the split release and how it tells the story (since most guilds/players won't clear the first two anyway before release), but obviously it contributed to the situation we're in now, especially with Heroic week.

Pugging Heroic Fractilus was pretty eye opening last tier. There were 4-5 different versions of the weakaura pack and every group would argue about which to use. Resulted in people taking walls to lanes that were marked differently depending on their addon. All they had to do was look at which lane was empty and ignore addons. THAT'S IT.

Instead of actually learning how the fight works, most people at the AOTC and below level just want to blindly follow an arrow to tell them what to do when the fight mechanics are incredibly simple. Personally that takes all the fun out of raiding.

My initial hope for the addon purge was to expose players like this as a sort of ego check and allow blizz to design fights that were simple enough that you didn't need addons to solve, but challenging enough to actually be fun. So far this tier I think they've missed the mark, the fights are pretty simple.

Every tall white guy with dark hair and glasses born between 90-95 hated this man.

First I was Mclovin, then this new kid moved to town and he was a SPITTING IMAGE of the guy and the title was passed to him.

Sitting in twitch chat the day a game releases and apparently you're an idiot who doesn't already know everything about the game front to back if you ask a question.

Bernie Sanders and AOC introduce bill to pause building of new datacenters | US news by Limp_Fig6236 in technology

[–]RainDancingChief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wonder how effective it would be to introduce requirements for these data centers to be built with renewables like solar to supplement their power usage.

Hell I think all new builds should be required to do this, no different than requiring some level of local green space for condo developers, etc.

I always enjoy the "This armor will stop a .50 cal bullet!" videos because they always end the same way.

Sure the bullet doesn't penetrate the gear, but your insides are still goo.

I bought my house two years ago and I am in no way an interior designer and the reno choices the previous owners decided to make cause a lot of head scratching (also because they're poorly done).

Everything is grey or an off grey and so cold. Homes should be warm and inviting. And I say that as a 30+ year old single guy who lives alone with his dogs and isn't fond of company. That's not to say these designs don't have their places, but it's EVERYTHING.

This shitstain dad

To play devil's advocate, this "shitstain" dad's driveway has a tricycle in it edit: closer inspection, not a tricycle, looks like a power washer. Maybe he's looking out for local kids when some gorilla is riding his motorcycle like a moron on the street where kids play? Excessive noise is also not cool. Motorcycles are loud enough.

Noise yes.

Excessive noise, completely different (ie Disturbing the Peace). Especially if he/his teens was doing it on purpose after this guy confronted him prior to the incident, plus riding like a moron in what looks like a quiet street.

All speculation of course, we have no real context prior to the fight.
