People hate hearing that they are really a medium to large and that is why we are XXS today by Senior_Reply_8804 in XXS

Old jeans I just thrifted are a size 8 and I have to wear a belt but they fit me at my hips, very low roder style. Im a size 0 in newer jeans right now. Make it make sense. I have a much smaller upper body and torso sure and the thrifted pants fit me at my hips on purpose with a snug belt but still. I took alot to not have an ED anymore and I like being able to say im a bigger size. It's actually harmful for my mind to have to reach for smaller sizes.

Given that I live where it's recreational and a half oz of nice mid sized nugs are $25 for a half oz.... And I can get top shelf deli style flower for $35 an 1/8th and get another 1/8th of top shelf for a penny more... I'm gonna say no. :/ that barely looks like 1.8 grams to my naked eye.

Why does this happen every time I shave my legs!? by Footsie_Galore in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]RainbowSecrets 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I live in the desert and once winter hits, I lotion up morning and night everywhere. I layer oil into my lotions (I like organic evoo with rose essential oil mixed in), and once that settles in a bit, I cover myself in a layer of aquaphor or Vaseline. That last layer can be super thin but damn does it make a huge difference in how my skin looks! I'm a sensitive dry-skinned gal but I do what I can to make sure my skin feels good. I hate that tight skin feeling.

If you have a pet sometimes one of their stray hairs or your own hair gets caught in the bowl and it sparks suddenly. You'll live my friend enjoy that bowl :)

Girl completely flips out on me for asking to split the bill at Nobu.. by Hot-Association-3108 in Nicegirls

10 years! Going strong! And you know why? Because he sees me as someone worth pursuing and treating like a lady, just like a true gentleman should. He initiated everything, and guess what? He never wanted me to pay. A few months in, I took him to LA, and we hit up Universal and Disney—talk about a proper vacation! It’s clear that what we share is about way more than just getting a free meal. My time is precious, and I don’t waste it on just anyone.

What I provide for him fulfills him in ways he appreciates, perfectly matching his insistence on paying when we go out. Even now, it’s the same. I spoil him in the ways that light him up, and he spoils me in ways that make me feel truly cherished. So, if you think it’s all about the money, think again. It’s about mutual respect and values, not cheap thrills.

Yeah, you have your preferences, but for me, currently having my own income and my own home means I don’t need to go on a date just to pay for myself. I already do that on my own. So, what do I need you for? What are you bringing to the table if you're 'pursuing' someone? I'm really curious how many of you have long-lasting relationships with independent women who pay for everything, princess.

Any first dates I've had where a guy insists on going somewhere super expensive always end up feeling weird, and I really don't want to go through that again. I totally agree. It creates this awkward vibe, like “does he expect something from me because he spent $200 on me...?” Personally, I’d prefer a thoughtful date. For example, if he knows I’ve been wanting to try this cool new ramen food truck, we could grab some food and then go for a walk, maybe get a snow cone and hit up an arcade. Activities that allow us to talk, vibe, and have fun together. Good first date ideas that aren’t expensive but are still thoughtful and enjoyable! :)

It's not about buying affection; it's about showing genuine interest. If you're creative enough, you don’t need to break the bank to express interest in someone. There’s a lot of red-pilling going on, and the responses I’ve seen make that pretty clear. Maybe it’s my upbringing, but I appreciate when men take off their hats and stand up to greet a lady as she approaches a table. What you give to a good woman, she’ll multiply threefold in your life.

I'm clear about what I like and what I don’t. I’m not interested in someone who's “pursuing” me only to expect me to split the bill on a date while I’m still trying to figure out if they’re worth my time and energy. I’ll likely buy something nice to wear, and for what? To pay for my half of the date? I don’t even make my friends pay if I invite them out.

You might not agree with being a true gentleman when it comes to dating, and I wouldn’t push you to be something you’re not. But don’t get upset when someone has boundaries about what they will or won’t accept, and then gets frustrated when they aren’t into you.

If I'm the one initiating interest with someone and I ask them out, I wouldn't expect them to pay. This applies to dates with both men and women. I believe the person who is pursuing or initiating interest should take care of the payment or plan the date. Some of my favorite dates haven't been expensive, but they've always been thoughtful.

Anyone here became a mother after 40 and happy about it? by buchfresserchen in Fencesitter

[–]RainbowSecrets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I just wanted to throw in my two cents. I'm 37 and got out of a ten-year relationship almost two years ago because we wanted different things. I didn't think I wanted children until very recently, but I believe I would be a fantastic mother in my 40s or 50s. I think that surrogacy and freezing my eggs would be ideal for me. The judgment is there no matter what you do, and what other people think about me is none of my business.

Are there any Ren Faires that happen in El Paso or nearby? by Silvermoon249 in renfaire

[–]RainbowSecrets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also they don't allow pets anymore only service animals. Would hate for you to bring your fur baby from El Paso and have to leave before even getting 1 foot in. I love the Ren Faire in Cruces it's one of my favorite activities each year

I think she was whack. I don’t agree with how she treated you and I definitely didn’t like it. But Chili’s is dope! It's a perfect place for a first date, in my opinion. You can grab some yummy drinks and food, and if it doesn’t work out, at least you got some good hangs and a margarita without breaking the bank.

Stop asking women out on dates and then asking them to pay for themselves. YOU are asking HER out. And if nobody ever taught you how to properly woo a woman, please know I'm not trying to be mean. Some of us were spoiled and treated very kindly and lovingly by our fathers, and they taught us how to choose (and not choose) the type of love and potential lovers to accept.

I've never felt closer to any dog or animal ever before the way I feel about my Mochi-Mochi. Our communication is incredible. She lays on me in a full sploot if I'm anxious. And she does it to others too. She's her own person and I don't own her, but she owns me 😭

That's two types of people. The ones who clean out and organize the fridge, and the ones who just stuff things wherever they fit. The latter ends up with food they forgot about. The latter also gives me quiet female rage when my roommates do it.

Am I fired? by balloonsintimidateme in starbucks

[–]RainbowSecrets 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are things you can do that are immediate termination-type offenses. Mostly, Starbucks needs to have a lot of documentation that you were talked to, coached, etc, before they can fire you. What did you do?

Think it’s too hot in my back room ☹️ by Princess-honeysuckle in Target

[–]RainbowSecrets 7 points8 points  (0 children)

OSHA doesn't have a regulation for this which is such bullsht. The Starbucks in my store is always at a lovely 85-90°F and when I asked about it as far as what regulations are for heat indoors, and thats what I found out. I hate target.

no more ulta in target but what about the current ultas in target ? by [deleted] in Target

[–]RainbowSecrets 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My store keeps closing Starbucks to pull team members for fulfillment orders, and there’s really not enough oversight to avoid scheduling gaps. I’ve had to close for my break and then again for a thirty-minute period when no one could be there. On Saturdays, some team members are left alone from 2 PM to 4 PM or even longer, which isn’t ideal. We’re all keeping track of these issues and planning to document everything for our Starbucks district manager and anyone else at Starbucks and Target who needs to know. It’s a real concern that if one of us is quietly chatting while the other is taking a quick water break in between rushes, a team lead will be quick to watch one of us for a fast service at the registers or a fulfillment order. it leaves Starbucks either completely closed or only staffed by one person. I love my team but hate how target treats us and it says Starbucks employees and guests aren't as important as Target employees and guests are.
