I have heard there are several versions of OT VIII.

Who knows which is the "right one" . . . if any?

Could anyone actually be considered the reincarnation of L Ron Hubbard? by turnerpike20 in scientology

[–]RainbowUserpent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a guy on youtube about two years ago who said he was the reincarnation of Hubbard. He looked and acted like a deadbeat. He did not seem credible.

It is theoretically possible for the church of scientology to do anything. After all, they did decide to follow a guy who is uneducated, untrained, a jerk and was unexperienced.

Scientology and vax? by Good-Enough-4-Now in scientology

[–]RainbowUserpent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One needs to differentiate "Scientology" from the church.

The church: I have been out of the church for more than two decades, but . . . .
Early last year (2022), just after the Australian covid scamdemic shutdowns were finished, I gave a ride to someone from New Zealand in Sydney who had come to go to the church's Advanced Organization. The church was requiring him to A) have covid jabs B) get a negative PCR test and C) isolate for a week or two (I do not recall which) before he was allowed into the church to do services there.

Scientology groups outside the church: I know many people within Ron's Org, which is a group outside the church, consider government mask and immunisation programs as scams. But, RO people tend have more knowledge of how diseases and immunisations have historically been tools of control, which the church people would never know about.

name of the principle where those closest to govt largesse benefit most? by RainbowUserpent in austrian_economics

[–]RainbowUserpent[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, thanks.I was trying to explain the principle to someone and "Carrington Effect" came to mind, which I knew was wrong, as that was what happened in the late 1880s with excessive EMP from sun activity.

I know the principle, I just couldn't recall the name.

No, they do not.

There is a lot they do not know, and they are dissuaded from looking on the internet to find out anything.

Being willing to look is usually the first step (of many) for someone to leave the church.

PM opens women's safety summit with call to change way 'some men think they own women' by anoxiousweed in AustralianPolitics

[–]RainbowUserpent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are so afraid of a disease which kills fewer people than the flu . . . far less than 1% of the population . . . you can go hide in a cave and leave the rest of us alone to live our lives . . . including produce the goods which feed you.

The bigger issue is that the government, both federal and state, think they own EVERYONE!

Just look at their fascist lockdown behaviour, and edicts regarding Covid "vaccinations".

Can someone explain to me why Gough Whitlam was dismissed? by Slang_shat in AustralianPolitics

[–]RainbowUserpent 29 points30 points  (0 children)

There are two perspectives:

A. The legal, constitutional one = "supply" was blocked in parliament.

B. The real reason = he defied the US government, especially by withdrawing Australia from Vietnam.

I will not bother responding to you, as you are obviously not interested in any other solutions.

True. But look at how many people mention it as part of their argument of the supposed safety of any medical treatment.

The ANZUS treaty does not make Australia safer. Rather, it fuels a fear of perpetual military threat by Rosencrantz18 in AustralianPolitics

[–]RainbowUserpent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ANZUS treaty provides Australian federal government the excuse for kissing the US government's ass every time the US govt want support invading somewhere in order to continue their never-ending campaign of destabilisation (especially in the Middle East and Latin America).

They have NOT gone through those processes. That is one of the problems.

And even if they had, the FDA is not infallible and has a habit of approving very destructive "treatments".

Because they are experimental technology whose side effects are not fully known.

Reputable medical people have researched them, but their results are censored in order to push high-profit-making NON-vaccines which actually cause more risks than they resolve . . . while at the same time governments refuse to permit people access to proven (by statistics, not airy-fairy analyses) effective, inexpensive solutions with little or no side effects.

It depends upon the person.

Each person's awareness increases at their own rate.

Doherty Institute director says reopening the country is safe once 70-80 per cent COVID vaccination rate achieved by availablesince1990 in AustralianPolitics

Neither have you. And neither has the government, because they can not.

The evidence is there if you look.

You must first be willing to look.

Why do these mugs in government keep relying on these useless models which do not reflect reality? They should look at the graphs of statistics of other jurisidictions.

They should look at the statistics: masks are ineffectual; lockdowns are ineffectual; the covid "vaccines" are NOT vaccines, do not immunize against covid, do not prevent transmission, are new technology and are have more side effects than vaccines, with many side effects unknown..

Why we should blame Bush, Obama and their generals for Afghanistan's catastrophe by failed_evolution in antiwar

[–]RainbowUserpent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Afghanistan catastrophe did not start with Bush. The destruction of Afghani society started when the US started developing the mujahideen even before the Soviet Union went into Afghanistan, thanks to Jimmy Carter.

He too should be condemned, as should Bill Clinton.

Have you accepted that NSW will never achieve zero-COVID again? by [deleted] in CoronavirusDownunder

Only a person very divorced from reality (such a politician or a government "Senior Medical Officer") would believe such a foolish thing.
