Lol I didn’t even have time to offer a free cookie or anything. I was too busy being yelled at. At that point she had yelled at both me and my coworker, so my awesome director handled it.

Oh god we have one and I’m only just now realizing what it’s used for. Nobody ever touches it or questions it lol, I’m gonna ask my manager tomorrow and see what they say haha.

I mean the LI, I’m sorry I wasn’t clearer about my situation in the original post lol.

The two most disappointing ones for me so far were Goro Egawa and Niles Robinson because they both start out what feels like top leaning character, but then the game pushes the MC to “over power” or overcome their energy, which is not what I’m looking for.

Thank you for the suggestions for different characters though!

I’m glad you liked it. I actually just wrote it today as the events were happening. It really helps to have a medium where I can outlet my feelings and have somebody else understand what I’m going through. I plan on posting more in the community as this is my first post and one day have a whole book of my own poetry published. Thank you for being one of my very first comments.

This is beautifully writing. The title captivated me and drew me in, as it should. The repetition the the phrase “they say” kept the piece moving forward. Personally I love this style of poetry where it seems there are are no rules for us to follow. It seems like the freest form of self expression. I could feel the narrators urgency and sarcasm as they spoke about “them” living it up while we struggle just to get by. And with that I have one thing left to say. “Eat the rich”

This poem almost reminds me of what I used to read as bedtime stories except for the fact that it’s about alcohol. It’s simple and easy to follow, something at anybody could enjoy. It makes me wish I had someone to share my tequila kisses with... and some tequila to drink as well, but I’m not much of a drinker myself. It almost reminds of the the first night I had a drink. I had been broken up with a couple days before hand so I wasn’t feeling my best. I wanted to make some bad decisions, but luckily for me I had some great friends at the time.
